Tough Love is the fourth and final song off my new EP and is available now! I recorded this song over a year ago in my garage, but jumped at the chance to redo it when we had some extra time at Big Fish Recording Studio. I like this version much better, and I think it wraps up the EP nicely. Don't forget to catch us live at the CD release show this Thursday, Feb 4th at The Belly Up. I am damn proud of this song. I wrote it about 6 months ago and watching it come to fruition with the rest of the band was an amazing process. It's got all my favorites.. hammond organ, harmonica, pedal steel, and a slow n steady blues groove that makes you want to drive down a desert highway at 3am with all the windows down. Huge thanks to David Mills and Austin Burns for helping make this song bigger than I ever thought possible, and Stephanie Brown for singing back ups. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we did making it. Thank you friends.
