figured i'd do an intro post just so people know what to expect on this blog DFBNJ

Y'all can call me Sock, I'm a 21 y/o autistic artist and I'm studying animation B) i'm mainly gonna use this blog to post my art (been trying to clean it up oops) and reblog other people's art now and then

I couldn't get the idea for this comic out of my head- so I ended up drawing 28 panels in 3 days... (Orignally planned out to only be 12 Panels long, but I really wanted it to feel less rushed WHICH IT IS-- but I'm limited to 30 files so I had to wrap it up)

This AU belongs to @ ctrl-alt-del-au, and it is an au I love and cherish- and I couldn't wait for their comic to reach to ep 5 mark for the bar adventure- so I made my own version-! (I'm patiently waiting for that canon comic >:) Can't wait to see that one) And of course, I heard that this au's Jax makes fun of Caine b'cus he thinks that he's neurodivergent, and I just made that roll for the entire comic >:)

Anyways I hope this isn't too cringe and weird- I put way too much effort into what was meant to be a very short comic spawned from an idea I got at 1am-- I just thought wayyyy too hard about what Caine would say in the bar adventure

EDIT: REBLOGGING THIS CUZ I CHANGED HER NAME i wanna kick myself for what i named her last time cuz it kept confusing ppl and i legit wasnt thinking properly when i named her cuz i was sleep deprived and didnt think of the implications SO she is called E-DEN now, pls refer to her as such ty <3

new TADC oc, thought abt what if the circus system had certain measures put in place like how a normal computer would so E-DEN is an antivirus that runs checks on Caine for anything out the ordinary. also wanted to try putting more effort into how i draw caine but he still doesnt look how i want him to yet hmm

Okay, so, since E-V.E.0.3 runs diagnostics and maintains Caine and Bubble are both functioning smoothly, would a program representing Adam perhaps act as some sort of administrative program that activates as a failsafe should everything go completely pear shaped?

Like, my logic behind this ask beyond the whole “Adam-inistrative” pun is that it would give Caine a paternal steady hand to rein him to compliment E-V.E. being a source of maternal affirmation and support.

I dunno. Make of this what you will.

ok so this is more of a reminder for me that i gotta change eve's name cuz i deadass wasn't thinking right when i named her that cuz she was meant to be a character i shipped w caine and only AFTER someone in the comments reminded me "oh eve like caine and abel's mother!" and my heart dropped to my ass HBFDJNDF mark my words when i get free time from uni (which probably will only be around june) i gotta update her ref w a new name

but that would be a super cool idea dude, i think i have seen someone make adam and eve ocs as caines parents in the circus before on here!! cant remember their handle tho unfortunately </3

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! oh you bet she did. since including her made everyone odd numbers, she decided to do the adventure solo and you bet that every chance she got she tried to get a hit at jax HBFSJSD he was literally the only one she was aiming for the entire time i can't make this up. and she probably locked in even more once she found out he shot ragatha (she was ready to make rabbit stew at that point)

however she likely got shot by jax and pomni and then i imagine she got caught in the crossfires when gangle had the tommy gun and that's how she lost </3 but she doesn't hold it against gangle, she honestly thought it was badass she ran at him with such a huge gun PFF she just wishes he hadn't won
