DEAR MY BLACK PEOPLE
Don’t be afraid to be black, don’t be ashamed of who you are. Your very black face that they beat into your head “You are a disgrace” is the very black face who’ve survived decades after decades of beatings in the face! “AND STILL YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL ”.
Dear my black people; lets not put the fire on one another that America ignited. Lets stay strong! and fight the mighty war that have yet to end. We must march in togetherness! or one by one fall.
We have made it my brother , we have made it my sister!
Through the slaves ships on the rocky water we made it!
Through the great depression we made it!
Through the bombings and lynchings we made it!
Through the segregated minds of heartless folks we made it!
WE SURVIVED THIS TOGETHER!
Lets continue to move forward together and stronger then before because together we are more stronger then we are weak.
“LET US NOT FEAR” MY BEAUTIFUL BLACK PEOPLE.
