Hear those engines roar! This poor jet was just trying to get from White Plains, NY to Burlington, VT... and diverted not once but TWICE. The first time it diverted to KMPV, in Berlin, VT. Here is the takeoff from Berlin to BTV — but it circled for 40 minutes over Lake Champlain and then diverted again to Plattsburgh, NY! Finally a bit after 3PM they made it to Burlington. Happy national dog day to this guy, the best pupperino in the whole wide world, Bapou! It’s so good to be able to celebrate this day with him for the first time in years, and to spend every day I can with him. Have you ever seen a skydiving mascot? The first @mountaineersvt game I ever went to was the 2004 @thenecbl all star game. The next time it was held in Montpelier, in 2012, I was on the field waiting for Skip to land. Same this year — although he was a bit lighter when he landed than when he jumped out of the plane...
