“I used to freestyle rap with my cousins. we would gather in the hallway in the building on my block and smoke weed and rap.” says the Bronx word-smith.

“Eventually I started getting confident in my skills and the rest is history.” he adds.

“I’m down. Where do I sign up??” rapper / model @Honeybarsz wrote fellow Bronx spitter Yung Calinda. The young entrepreneur has been working diligently to get the business off the ground.  

@Honeybarsz has a massive online following of admirers of her modeling work and even writes her own music. Music Video director turned rapper Yung Calinda founded Prospect Records in order to give indie artists like them a platform to reach fans.

Bronx Rapper Overdoses Before Dropping EP

Yikes! Bronx based rapper Yung Calinda recently admitted in a podcast that he nearly overdosed on drugs summer 2020. Crack, Crystal Meth, K2, Angel Dust and Opium were on the list of being consumed.

“Oh and Magic Mushrooms” the 32 year old Bi-Polar rapper adds.

Could be more.. Who knows? Not even Yung Calinda, who’s quickly put the ordeal behind him in order to focus on music. He recently dropped the “Maniac” EP featuring the Nicki Minaj inspired “Yikes” freestyle, the hit smash “Bubble Gum” with it’s inspired music video and the mosh-pit ready banger “Fuck it Up” which is steady turning heads. In the trailer we see the Bronx New York night to day and James Calinda flexing as Huey the troubled Sayin. Things are looking good so far for this underdog production which is said to be Dragonball Z in the ghetto.

Bronx rapper Yung Calinda recently released a short film entitled “Acapella” in which the witty MC hosts a cypher with himself, and himself. Trend$ LFF Music shoots new Video

This past week saw Bronx rapper, actor and writer Trend$ LFF Music shooting new visuals to accompany his latest music. He called on frequent collaborator James Calinda of CalindaMedia to handle the filmmaking responsibilities.

“It’s gonna be a movie” says James. The 31 year-old filmmaker believes that Trend$ is definitely in the front running to be the next big star to emerge from the Bronx. He’s got the skills on the mic and the charisma of a Hollywood A-lister to boot.

The cast spent hours deciding the best shots to get and how to best tell the storyline. Trend$ knows these aren’t professional actors, but what they lack in acting experience, they make up in hustle. There’s a very good chance that you have never heard of rapper Young Bezel from The Bronx New York.

Question, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?? Young Bezel is bar for bar one of the best lyricist in Big Apple.

Also, the prolific emcee has dropped music video after video for years now. Young Bezel never seems to stop working.

It was nothing short of a miracle to get him to sit down for an interview, during which he expressed admiration for artists who are able to “reinvent themselves” and stay “consistent” in making art.

Who knows? Maybe the Rap game isn’t ready to make room for an artist who’s actually REAL. SMH
