 Hey guys! So I think it’ll be best for me to go on a hiatus until I sort some things out. I’m departing whether or not to drop my characters since I’ve been so busy recently with rehearsals and revision, and overall I’m just so stressed that I get upset over the littlest of things. If I decide to keep any of my character then it will probably be Dylan, but as for now I’m just going to go on a hiatus. I really don’t want to leave because I love everyone on here, we’re like a big family and leaving the roleplay just seems unbelievable because of how much effort we’ve put into it, and how many amazing connections I have with other characters. Not to mention the friendship we all have in OOC. But as for right now I just don’t have the time and I think I need to sort some things out before I start roleplaying again. Sorry!

“Damn it. I guess there’s no hiding my true colours.” He said playfully, rolling his eyes slightly. “Same here. Life was so simple back then. The only thing I really worried about was making sure I got good grades in English otherwise my mother would have killed me.” He chuckled quietly, the memory of his mother making him smile. At her next comment a challenging grin appeared on his lips as he nodded softly. “You’re on.”

With all due respect to people in and outside the hospital — Jon really couldn’t give any fuck about them these days. It was nearly full moon, the supply runs were not nearly long enough to rid him of all the energy in his body, there was close to no booze they found last time and someone had already raided the cigarette aisle before him. And the tip of the iceberg was that little piece of shit guy telling him that he was supposed to get the fuck out of his way. “Listen here you little cock sucking bitch, shut that little whore mouth of yours and go suck on your moms tit again. James couldn’t help but to over-hear the conversation between a close friend of his and some other individual. He exhaled softly, turning on his feet and quickly approaching the two. “Woah, easy there buddy.” James started, noticing he broke a glass with his hand. He looked at the other, “I suggest you leave now before he does that to your face.” He told them carefully, gesturing towards the glass. When they left, he made eye-contact with his friend again. “What’s your problem?”

“I can’t be positive around ya’. Two Pollyannas in the town full of infected would be intolerable. We have to balance each other out.” She chuckled softly. “How can a snowman be scary if it has a white marshmallow-like body?”

“Intolerable? I wouldn’t say that. Come on, cheer up a lil.” He spoke, a soft chortle escaping his full-lips. “It’ll be white, yes. But we can use some small twigs to make his eyebrows and use pebbles to create his lips and just make him look really evil.”

“Good to hear someone thinking positive. All i seem to hear is people saying how shit the towns come to. Thinking like that won’t do any of us any good.” Leo spoke, shaking his head slightly. “You knew you’d win, you haven’t won yet.” Leo smirked, when the snowball came closer to him he tried to dodge it but failed. “God damn it. 1 - 0 i see.”

“Exactly!” James agreed, before a grin pulled on his lips. “I haven’t. But I will. You wanna up your game and start using those powers of yours, Leo.”

“Your smile is your best feature? I always thought it was your quick wit and sass.”She said with a smirk.

“Well yeah, that too.” He laughed.

“Yeah human interactions bug me too.”She laughed as she didn’t get along with too many people. “Besides I feel like shit.”She said coughing quietly, “It’s from being cooped up in this damn hospital.”She sighed.

“Define what you mean by ‘I feel like shit’. Are you just tired, or do you actually feel ill?” He asked, not helping but to feel a little concerned although he tried to play it off cool as if he didn’t care.

“Excuse you, have you been looking at my thighs since you know this? What a creep. And of course I can’t outrun you - maybe if we played fair I’d have a chance.”

“It’s not like I just stand there sometimes and stare. It’s a simple observation, I noticed when we used to train -- back when I was still human.” James shrugged, “Maybe not. But I’ll make sure to play fair. I won’t use my super speed or whatever you want to call it.”

“I spent half of my childhood at hospital; the other half was at home, so I didn’t have time for buildin’ snowmen. – And it is pointless. The happy snow guy will melt away in a few days.” Lindsey said and kept her eyes on James. She lightly smiled, started to do what he told her to. “Or an infected rip his head off. Either way, our happy snow guy will be dead.”

“Well, you like to thing negatively don’t you? The snowman was never alive in the first place. Come on, we have time now. Let’s quickly make a snowman.” James suggested again with a grin. “A scary-snowman to frighten away the Crooks.”

“Only for you, it just doesn’t work for you.”She said with a quiet laugh as she shook her head. “I’m just messing with you Deveraux.”

“Good. For a minute then I thought the reason you didn’t like me being happy was because of my smile. It’s one of my best features.”

“I can’t really let myself have much fun with a possibility of a crook running at me from around the corner. I say we leave the snowman and fun winter games for when it’s safe. This won’t be our last winter.”she assured him, starting to walk down the path. “And unlike you I can’t outrun them, so.”

James sighed softly, before his lips tugged up into a small smile and he nodded his head slightly. “Fine.” James agreed, following suit. He let out a chuckle. “I don’t know, Mila. You have some pretty strong thighs. I bet you can even out run me.”

She got comfortable, shifting her legs slightly in his lap before resting her head back on the pillow once more. Katherine couldn’t help but snort a quiet laugh as James asked if she would lead. “I’d make a terrible leader, we’d al be dead in days.”

“Maybe not.” James retorted, “I think you’ll be a fair leader. But then again, you’d have to deal with everyone’s and hate when they start to question your leadership. And I don’t know about you, but human interaction bugs me.”

Katherine was laying down on the waiting room couch as she began to speak finally, “You know this is total bullshit–everyone is running around here barking orders and no one knows who the hell to listen to.”She said with a slight eye roll, “One person says this–another says that–I say we buck up and choose a leader.”

“You have a good point.” James said nonchalantly, overhearing what she said. He walked towards her and moved her feet up so he could sit down before placing them back on his lap. “Why don’t you lead?”

“No way, Pollyanna.” Lindsey rolled her eyes but the grin on her face gave away her amusement. “Ya’ might like the snow, but I’m still indifferent to it. But the view is nice though. When it snows, I mean. – And I’ve never built a snowman before.” She pointed out, tried to keep her grin from growing wider.

“What?” James asked in disbelief, meeting her stare. “You’ve never built a snowman before? Like, never? We gotta change that, Linds. Come on. Help me make the base.” James said, making a small snow ball and rolling it in the snow.

“I’m totally down for changing the mood. Keeping up the good spirit like usual i see James. Why not even start a snow ball fight?” As soon as these words left his mouth, already prepared with a snow ball, Leo throw it in James’ direction. Hitting him on the shoulder. “Damn i thought i aimed that perfectly.”

“Exactly. That’s me, Leonardo. I like to keep a good vibe.” He said, a light chortle escaping his lips. “And I didn’t want to start a snow ball fight because I knew I’d win. But since you obviously want to start a war, I don’t see why not.” James said, picking up a snowball and throwing it in his direction, bouncing it off his head. “Gotcha.”

“Snowmans are overrated, James. And beside, we really shouldn’t be outside for so long, it’s one thing to check the area around the wall, and completely other to lower down our guard and play kids in the snow. Come on, we should really head back.”

“You’re a party pooper. Can’t we check the area and have fun in the snow? Let’s make a scary snowman to frighten off the Crooks.” He joked, putting his cold hands into his pockets. “Fine, okay. Let’s head back.”
