#oh my god no but#imagine them both going out for drinks one night as usual#and jim keeps commenting on every ass that strides by#eventually bones just says he’s calling it a night and puts a twenty on the counter and turns to leave#and jim grabs his arm kinda roughly because he’s completely shitfaced#saying ‘youre not going anywhere bones cmon’#and bones glares at him and says ‘let me go’ and shrugs out of the grip violently#and turns around to leave#jim stumbles out of the bar stool and grabs again forcing him to turn around#and bones just snaps and sends his knuckles flying to jim’s nose#and jim strikes back and next thing they know theyre on the floor#it takes 5 buff security track cadets to pull them off each other#and sit them down on opposite ends of a table#until they catch their breaths#theyre silent for long long minutes before bones speaks up in a flat tone#’can i go now or do i have to watch you fish out another warm body for the night?’#’with all this red face paint? even im not that good’#bones snorts and pushes himself slowly off his seat#jim reaches for his hand and this time its not rough he just… holds it#and quietly whispers for him to either stay#or go back with him#and bones has this half disappointed half hurt look and he just says ‘i dont want to the warm body for the night either jim’#he tightens his hand around bones’ before letting go and dropping his gaze to the floor#mumbling something about ‘for the night’ not being what he had in mind for bones at all#and bones’ lips curl up with a wince at the pain#’could’ve just said so kid’ (via cosmicbooks)
