The Grumpy Ooze by jamesgannon

A friend posted one of those "quizzes" on social media where your birth month and birth day have an adjective and noun respectively attached to it, and matching them up created a name of SOMETHING. The "something" in this case was "the name of the tavern you own". I ended up with "Grumpy Ooze", so I had to draw a quick depiction up. When crafting the ooze, I thought of the standard "slime" characters in role-playing games, but as I never played any games featuring them, my mind went to the little gooey creatures in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Those were called Bits (red) and Bots (blue). So I drew this misshapen little jelly thing holding a glass of beer in his extending slimy tendril, coloring it purple as a mixture of blue for sad and red for angry. You'd be a grumpy slime creature seeking solace in the bottom of a keg if you could be defeated with one whack from a lvl. 1 wizard's tree branch.

With Jim Carrey in the talks to play Dr. Eggman in the Sonic The Hedgehog movie, will this inspire casting Mike Myers to portray Dr. Wily in the Mega Man movie?

Unlike the comic book meeting of Sonic and Mega Man, this would be a crossover event I would dread.
