Technology and art collide in this Japanese Art Exhibition by Team lab. Using Sensors and mobile input the visitors can be transported to another world.

Hard rock/Pop Punk Bands often used a comic book art style for their posters, which had an eye catching effect. It also represented their style of music. The images for the posters often conveyed some kind of action or movement. Which in a way, mirrors their music. Which was often fast paced and whimsical. This is also reflected in the crazy characters in their posters.

These pictures are from Richard Mosse’s The Enclave. Mosse is an Irish photographer who used infra-red film to make the images. These striking images are taken in war torn Congo. The use of infra-red film gives the land an almost blood soaked look. The result is quiet beautiful but also unsettling. The top image is a picture of my laptop case.   I’m not a fan of cats but this image is pretty funny. He looks like something out of the matrix. The cat’s positioning, head and glasses are symmetrical so there’s something hypnotic about it too.

I have an interest in movies and this poster for the Dark Knight is a really simple image but I think it captures the imagination. The typography used resembles blood and gives a hint to the type of character shown.
