Double take Episode 1!

The first entry of Double Take! I talk to Sarah Hill and show the procession of steps in the making of Sarah’s portrait.

Double Take was created to reach out, meet and converse with other artists and current creators. These conversations take the form of informal questions to talk about life, loves and the creation process.

Before the recorder goes on I create my first impression of the person by drawing a quick portrait and later, after the talk, I finish by working off of the impression that I received to create a fully realized portrait. Oh boy!

The first episode of Double take is with Sarah Hill, local poet and student of Smith college. We talk about her work, the path she took to becoming the poet she is now and how she starts the creation process..
