How are Roy and Savage still on my tumblr crushes?
That moment where I get on and wonder if Mason ever sleeps anymore.

"W-Where.. can I find someone who sells drugs?"
David shook his head, fingers holding the small baggie, glancing over it, the green stuff inside a bit intimidating. “No, I’ve never.. done this before.. what is it like?” David looked across at him,at the man there, watching the pack of paper coming out. “I mean.. you don’t have to waste your time.. I can figure it out..” David set it out before digging his hand into his pocket and pulling out the fifteen. “I’ll.. pay back the rest after Mr. Lancaster sends me out.. and I get paid..I promise” The man was a wreck but he felt that after all of this he wouldn’t be a freak. “Does it.. effect.. having sex?”
"It's like smoking a cigarette," James answered quietly, taking the small baggie back from him and pulling the weed out onto the bar. He began pulling apart some of the pieces, placing them onto a strip of paper. With practiced fingers, her rolled it tight, running his tongue along the edge and twisting the end. Perfect blunt. "Don't worry about the money," he frowned again, shaking his head. His eyes narrowed at the name Lancaster, but he shrugged it off. If Oliver was still in town, that wasn't his concern, so long as the bastard stayed well clear of him. He pulled out a silver lighter, flipping it open as he held the blunt between his lips. The pull was long, the end of the blunt flaring up slightly before smoldering. James let out a smoke ring, a second one, a third, before his lungs were empty. "It's not going to effect your sex life," he assured the boy, handing him the blunt. "Just take a nice long drag and try to hold the smoke in for as long as you can." While he waited for the boy to smoke, he put the rest of the weed back in the baggie, twisting it up.
“I’m not a fan of meth either. If it doesn’t kill you, your hair falls out and you lose teeth. Most of those crackheads look like they have leprosy. they’re fun to mess with.”
“I could be, after my kickboxing lessons. Maybe I will be everyone’s female Tyler Durden. Dreams could come true. Maybe I am my own alter ego. Who the hell knows these days? We’re all just a copy of a copy.”
"You mess with crackheads? That's a bit fucked up. Huh, a female Tyler Durden, now that'd be something to see. You're getting too deep for me, love, I'm just a simple minded sort of guy."
My savior, I’d love anything you have.
Well that's a very broad canvas, love. I can get you anything you need, just say the word and it's yours.
You’d think popping a few pills would get rid of this headache, but no luck. I’m close to stabbing my eyeballs out.
Summer, need something a bit stronger perhaps?
"W-Where.. can I find someone who sells drugs?"
David watched him head off and went off after him, moving to walk beside him, shoving his hands into warm pockets. His breath was shaking and his eyes downcast as he walked beside the other. “I.. I don’t want to drink.. I.. I have ways to get money.. ” The boy was a mess, never realizing how much words could fuck him up, stomach churning. “M-My name is David.. David V-Vishankov.. “He stated quietly as they approached the entrance to the bar, trusting the man.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm not getting you a drink, I'm getting you some pot," James replied, opening the door and walking in. The bar was quiet, nearly empty. And there Key stood at the bar, wiping at a spotless glass. The Irishman took one look at his company, snorted quietly and immediately went to the back room. "James Riordan. Take a seat," James muttered, seating himself at the bar and leaning over to grab a bottle of Hennessy. When Key came back, he held a small bag of weed. A gram. "It's twenty pounds. Take it," James said, handing him the baggie before handing the bartender a few crisp notes. Key merely rolled his eyes and tucked the cash away, snatching the bottle back. "Do you have a pipe, kid? Know how to roll a joint?" James already knew the answer though, pulling out a small pack of rolling paper from his front pocket.
“I hear your statement is wrong if you’re on methamphetamine and eating California grapes.”
“That whole idea about not letting your shit own you.”
"Huh. The whole Fight Club them, hmm? I suppose it's an interesting concept. But not too many people are cut out for that lifestyle. Think you could handle it? I know I can't. And fuck meth, that shit'll get you six feet under faster than anything else."
Number still the same? I’ll let you know. Glad to know you haven’t lost that sense of humour of yours, mate. Perhaps one day in a very distant future, but mundane’s not on the agenda quite yet. Indigo, yeah. Ehlers before that, for a mission. Iggy’s fine, by the way; laying low with the brat. Other than that, no one’s really changed - got a few new faces that are interesting enough.
Hasn't changed, not that you ever rang before, bastard. That brat's gotta be huge by now, huh? I should dig her up, pay her a visit. A few new faces huh? Which ones are interesting then? And Christ, how hard is it to kill a few people off in this city? I come back and Lloyd and Stratford are still here -- I'm surprised nobody's capped 'em yet.

“Maybe I should just tell everyone to fuck off and become a bum. I imagine things would be easier on some levels. You aren’t tied to a whole lot of baggage when you’re just living.”
“I should never watch On the Road.”
"I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, love, but living like a bum doesn't make anything easier."
"W-Where.. can I find someone who sells drugs?"
“N-Not much.. Only fifteen pounds but.. I’ll work off the rest.. I’ll get more cash I just..” David stuffed his hand into his pocket, pulling out his fifteen pounds and held it out, looking like a mess “Please.. please..” David sniffled, tears in his eyes, all glossy. “I just.. I’ve never done drugs but.. I just want to forget..” The man stood there, eyes going down to the floor, hands out stretched with all the money he had in the world.
It wouldn't have been the first time James sold drugs to a first time user. And fifteen pounds certainly wasn't enough to cover the grade A cocaine resting in his waistcoat. He sighed deeply, taking in the wreck that was the boy standing before him. "What I've got is worth at least eighty pounds, kid, and I don't have any means for you to work the other sixty five off. Fifteen pounds will buy you nothing but shit that'll leave you feeling worse than you are now." For a moment, he somehow doubted that. He shook his head, however. "Come on, follow me," he finally muttered, taking off across the rain-soaked street towards the Irish pub, hoping Key was at the bar tonight.
Face pressed closely against the side of his head, she closed her eyes, taking in the familiar scent of his cologne mixed with cigarette smoke; Lucky Strikes had always been a favorite for the Riordan boy. As he stepped away, her palm remained flat against the skin of his cheek, thumb brushing back and forth against the copper coloring, azure hues capturing his chocolate brown ones as a smile danced across her features. “Has everything been taken care of? Is everything okay? Are you okay?” Each question hinted at the worry locked away behind a serene mask, one happy to have her best friend home, and safely in front of her, and she ducked her head, blue orbs falling shut as he mentioned the other friend. “He can’t replace you,” she whispered softly, chin lifting to glance back at his face. “He’s actually missing. His phone has been dead for weeks, and I can’t get in touch with him. No one has seen him. I’m getting really worried.”
The hint of jealousy he felt died down slightly, James feeling a bit petty for having felt it in the first place. Of course Audrey would grow close to others in his absence. Wasn't that how it was supposed to be? God knew he didn't want her to be lonely. Her palm pressed against his cheek was a familiar weight, soft and gentle, and he leaned forward to press a chaste kiss to the center of her brow. "I'm alright, everything's alright. I've been workin' pretty hard, finally managed to convince my employers that I'd do better for them back home, so here I am now all settled in." It was the truth, and he was doing better. His sinewy, lanky frame had filled out, the hollows beneath his eyes nearly disappeared. He was dressed cleanly, blazer and slacks, his shoes shined, hair slicked back neatly. "Missing, huh?" Concern colored his tone, not for whoever this mystery friend was, but for Audrey who seemed genuinely worried, fretful even. He took both of her hands in his, holding them between the pair as he frowned down at the blonde. "What's his name? I could see if anybody I know has heard of him. Might be able to figure something out, track him down if we're lucky. I've been gone awhile, but I've still got some old connections."
