Just launched my brand new website!
Along with my involvement with Bowling For Soup, I have also been recording with Jaret Reddick's side project People On Vacation. This band (a collaboration with Smile Smile's Ryan Hamilton) are following up their debut EP with their first full-length album, The Summer and the Fall, and I've been fortunate to be a part of it. Jaret kindly invited me to record some 'cello parts for the album and everything is almost wrapped up (including the album artwork now!)
The Summer and the Fall will be released on 22nd November 2012. Head over to BandWear and pre-order now!
More photos and videos are starting to come in from the One Big Happy tour dates that I performed at! One of my favourites so far is definitely this video of Turbulence from Birmingham O2 Academy 1.

A discussion with the Bowling For Soup chaps after the Nottingham Rock City gig led not only to an invitation to rejoin Jaret & Erik for the acoustic performance at the Oxford O2 Academy 1 gig, but also to play Turbulence with the full band during the main show that night. As with the previous shows, I did accompany Jaret & Erik (Bowling For Soup) and Joe (Patent Pending) for their acoustic songs, but I then cast my acoustic 'cello aside and took to the stage with my electric 'cello... complete with in-ear wireless monitors (oh, the rockstar lifestyle!).
An amazing experience that I am so truly grateful for. My dear Texan friends, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
After the success of the acoustic performance at Bowling For Soup's Birmingham O2 Academy 1 gig, I was invited back to accompany them the following night as they took to the main stage at Nottingham Rock City.
In addition to performing Turbulence and When We Die with Jaret & Erik again, a casual conversation with Joe Ragosta (frontman of support act Patent Pending) ten minutes before VIP doors were to open resulted in an invitation for me to join him for their gorgeous acoustic ballad, Spin Me Around. We certainly did not have a huge amount of time to rehearse, but we did it and the song sounded beautiful!

With the Texan punk rockers returning to the UK once more, I was invited to join Grammy-nominated band Bowling for Soup on-stage at Birmingham O2 Academy 1 for acoustic performances of their songs Turbulence and When We Die (playing 'cello).
It was fantastic to perform at the 3000-capacity venue (although the venue was not full at the time!) and I'm delighted that there are more performances on the One Big Happy tour for me to come...

Fusion: Genesis (XBLA) has finally appeared on MobyGames, adding to the list of credits on my page. A great Starfire Studios project to have contributed sound design to, working with some extremely talented and experienced Rare Ltd veterans.
Tumblr Debut
Hello there and welcome!
The time has come... I have finally tumbled onto Tumblr.
I introduced the News page to my website with the intention of providing updates, but decided that a blog would be a better outlet for these updates.
I'm envisaging that posts will mostly be focussed on my audio work or other involvement with the games development insdustry, but I also wanted to establish a blog where I could perhaps share items that have inspired or interested me.
A number of months ago, I set up a SoundCloud page and I am hoping these two sites will encourage me to share my work more frequently. If I don't, I need you to keep reminding me to do so, OK? You, yes YOU! Wait... people read blogs, right?
In the meantime, feel free to tweet me or like my Facebook page! -J-
