Laura was enjoying a day of shopping in Florida but frowned as she saw the rain starting to fall. “Of course it rains when I don’t bring an umbrella.” She scoffed and headed into the closest store to get out of the rain. “Well looks like I’ll eat and hope it stops soon.” She walked up to the counter and ordered a Whooper meal and then brought it to a table by the window so she could keep an eye on the rainy situation. Feeling someone’s eyes on her she looked up. “Can I help you?”

Jay had been sitting at the table waiting for his ride for what felt like ages. This is why he needed to get a car but after moving back from Japan that hadn’t been a top priority. Now apparently it was. When he saw a familiar face walk in he couldn’t help but stare. A conversation he’d had recently playing in his head. A normal person would probably be embarassed by getting caught staring but he wasn’t. “I know I’m supposed to apologize or something but I’m not actually sorry so I won’t. I couldn’t help but stare. Have you seen yourself? I was actually talking about you the other day with the Alien. We disagreed about you being hot or not.”
