Ok yk how wallter looks before he gets addicted to gray stuff? More specifically the shape of his eyes? They’re (mostly) round.

Now, look at his eyes AFTER he got addicted. They’re slightly - ever so slightly - more droopy. Just like the eccles syndrome eyes from nokori and bunker - with bunker specifically having an ENTIRE WAREHOUSE SECTION FULL OF GRAY STUFF.

Symptoms of eccles syndrome:

And a note DR. Retro wrote about wallter due to him having to take a a week off of work due to ‘concerning symptoms’; which include fatigue and eye decline, which are key symptoms of eccles syndrome. He has also grown far paler in color, which is another notable symptom.

Theres also an interview with wallter where he mentions that his skin has grown tougher. Victims of the eccles syndrome also have distinct, droopy and cloudy eyes, likely implying cataracs, as seen in the image below. They also have gray skin.
