“I don’t know what happened, Dalia.” Lorna heaved a heavy sight as she wrapped her arms tightly around her daughter, cradling her gently. “You’re not a monster, you’re far from it.”

“DO NOT TOUCH ME!” Lorna shouted as a hand was put on her shoulder. She turned quickly to face them, her eyes shining bright green. Her daughter wasn’t okay and Lorna wasn’t there to fix it before the danger began. “I do not want your sympathy, I want to see Dalia.”
