1 & 2) "There could be something said about how happy and lively that little girl was. She always wanted to put on her dance shoes, always wanted to play princess, didn't have a care in the world. She was whole, she was happy. Her life was flawless."
3 & 4) "...Then the divorce happened. Parents got divorced all the time, she knew that, but her father didn't simply leave her mother. He left the family. Her hero, the king to her princess, everything she ever wanted to be packed up his suitcase and left her standing on the curb. After that, she found it hard to smile, even in front of the cameras. She stopped wearing the princess outfits, cut her hair... She didn't want to be a princess anymore. She wanted to be her own knight."
5 & 6) "The beginning of high school was so hard on her. Surrounded by people she didn't know anymore, she eventually lost her sense of self in all of it. Though things became progressively worse, she got better at hiding it behind a smile. Because that's what everyone else wanted."
7 & 8) "Broken was the only way to describe her senior year in high school. By then, she could smile on cue, but she couldn't feel any of it. She just wanted to get away. She wanted to find her happiness again. She did everything a normal girl was supposed to, even went to prom with one of the few friends she came close to trusting. But the second the graduation cap was off her head, she was gone."
9) "She struggles. Every day she struggles to find who she really wants to be, who she feels happiest as. But she continues fighting; it's an uphill battle, one she suffers alone, despite being surrounded by people. But she's determined to believe there's hope in the world. All she wants is to be happy. It's the least everyone in life ever deserves."
