I love building original species, strange creatures and entire fictional ecosystems. I also drop fanart and lore sketches from time to time.
🎨 This blog is where I share:
• original characters & species
• worldbuilding visuals
• creature concepts with backstory
• full drawings and finished illustrations
• sketches, concept art and experiments
• personal stuffs, but also art trades and commissions
Follow if you’re into art with personality, lore and weird creatures.
Art trades and asks are welcome!
I also take commissions – from simple sketches to fully rendered pieces. If you’re interested, check my portfolio side for details.

A few years ago, I started sculpting a male orca with the hope that one day I would bring this design to life and see it finished with proper colors, lighting, and shading. Back then, my PC simply wasn't powerful enough for me to complete any 3D model at a level I was happy with. Years passed, and eventually I got better hardware and decided to give Nomad Sculpt a try to see what I could do with this old project.
Long ago, I made a very basic colored version of this orca in Sculptris. I didn't know much about 3D sculpting at the time, but surprisingly that early work was appreciated, and I even sold the base body model to DrowElfMorwen who brought my design to life in their own way. Watching that was genuinely exciting and motivating.
Today, I've finally done what I had been planning and dreaming about for many years.
I've always felt that understanding shape and form has been one of my strengths. Since I was young, I've been fascinated by anatomy and have studied it throughout my entire artistic journey. This model was sculpted largely from memory, as there was a time when I was deeply interested in orcas and spent countless hours drawing them. Over the years, their anatomy became very familiar to me, and much of that knowledge naturally carried over into this project.
I've seen many beautiful orca models over the years, and plenty of artists are far more technically advanced than I am, but I rarely found a model that matched my own anatomical expectations. Eventually, I decided that if I wanted to see that vision realized, I would have to create it myself.
One of my next goals is to have this model 3D printed. Seeing it on a screen is satisfying, but holding a physical version in my hands would be something special. After spending so many years developing this project, I'd love to finally see it exist as a real object and not just a digital sculpture.
I'm still learning the technical side of 3D sculpting, topology, rendering, and all the other challenges that come with it, but I think I've finally reached a point where I'm reasonably satisfied with the results. Hopefully, with time and practice, I'll be able to push my work even further.
I'm still creating in Nomad Sculpt and have already tested many of its tools and features on another model. Maybe I'll share that one in the future. I'm much more active on Instagram and Twitter, where I usually post sneak peeks and work-in-progress shots before showing finished pieces.
This is the current and most up-to-date design of the Perykroz species. Over time I experimented with different silhouettes and anatomical ideas, but this version is the one that best captures the creature's identity.
The overall coloration and visual inspiration come from the Eurasian jackdaw, one of my favorite birds. Its dark plumage, subtle gradients and striking pale eyes heavily influenced the final look.
The head shape was inspired by the northern pike, particularly its elongated snout and predatory profile. I wanted to combine the sleek elegance of a flying creature with the intimidating features of an aquatic hunter.
Perykroz is a large flying species with membranous wings, a streamlined body and a silhouette designed to feel both graceful and slightly unsettling.
I have created a new blog dedicated solely to the world of James Cameron's Avatar, as I feel that there could be more fan art from this world 😁 and I don't want to disappoint my followers because of the creatures I have created so far.
Some time ago, I posted a sketch depicting Varang cutting off Jake’s kuru, based on the idea of an artificial kuru as a prosthesis. One of the inspirations was Jake’s fight in A2, where he used a chain.
I imagined the kuru as being made of a hard, mechanically damage-resistant material, not necessarily metal. It contains glowing diodes indicating an active neural connection to the brain, but it is more sensitive than a natural kuru. It can also be extended, which allows it to be used as a whip-like weapon.
Of course, this is just a product of my imagination.
A drawing of my idea inspired by Varang, who cuts off other Na’vi’s kuru. Once I finish the second project, which is a continuation of this one, I’ll provide a better description of the concept.
The second project is more important, but I had to first present the idea of where it comes from, which may be painful for some people when seeing Jake without kuru.
To nice when certain personal expectations or imaginings come true.
I always wanted to see Jake fighting with traditional Na’vi weapons (I mean a bow) rather than human ones, so it’s great to finally see him with a bow.
I know, we’ve seen him with a bow before, mostly while training or hunting, but never in real combat. I hope we get more of that, seeing Jake fight more and more like a true Na’vi.
This idea was born quite a while ago, but with a different character, finally I decided to do it with Spider and it's first time I draw him.
The background isn't that important to me, so I made some simple nature.
I imagined this scene as happening somewhere in the meantime, maybe after Jake and Quaritch freed the kids from Varang or something like that. We know that something similar is supposed to happen during the final battle in Avatar 3.
Recently I came up with the idea that in the ground research station, Norm was keeping a baby of the giant squid that appears in the movie trailer - tsyong. Over time, as it’s kept in isolation, the tsyong grows to a considerable size, and Jake befriends it, like with a pet - teaches it tricks etc. I imagine it’s female.
I have many scenarios involving Jake, and recently I came up with the idea that in the ground research station, Norm was keeping a baby of the giant squid that appears in the movie trailer. Over time, as it’s kept in isolation, the squid grows to a considerable size, and Jake befriends it, like with a pet - teaches it tricks etc. I imagine it’s female.
