After 85 years of waiting, I finally got my bastard husbento!!!

All that ember and crystal hoarding payed off and got myself a 2* Whisky! Technically, I did get a guarantee Whisky on the 7th pull but I did get lucky on getting another Whisky on the same pull!

People say he's for collection but I have to disagree

He's good as a farming material for other people uwu.

But seriously, I finally got my man and I'm a very happy camper. Tbh I was surprised Elex put Whisky's pool first before the Oyster event instead of the other way around like in CN. Ah whatever, Whisky is here and that's all that matters.

I have risen from the dead to say...

Can we take a moment that Whisky's little laugh in his feeding voice line (JP voice) is cute? Like he's an evil snake man but the way he laughs sounds oddly pure (for lack of a better term). Maybe it's just me but I won't deny his little laugh is cute.

Oh hey! I ain't dead guys, just inactive on my art blog lol. But worry not for I have brought (well drawn lol) goodies with me to make this blog active again!

Here I have two versions of my take on drawing Whisky in a Tim Burton's art style. I don't know why but recently I wanted to draw Whisky in this style. Something compelled me to do it and honestly, I don't mind it lol. Normally, I would post sketches and some colored ones here but I decided to get my lazy butt off and actually put effort in it. Took me roughly 2 days to finish this but it was worth it.

When you're saving crystals for one evil snake man/fire fist lady but Elex decided to throw a Pizza rerun event which forces you to pick one or the other.

Gee thanks Elex for making me choose who to go for this month :'). And yes, I will particpate in the Pizza event because I want Cheese to be 5 stars and Pizza at least 3 or 4 stars. Idk about Cassata but I'll get him some stars too. The Pizza trio shall become strong and beat up Whisky when he comes home.

Look me in the eyes and tell me that some of the characters' height weren't sacrificed to make Beer tall.

Champagne got hit the most because he used to be the 2nd tallest in food fan. Now he's crying because he lost 2 inches of his original height while Beer comforts him in his new 6ft 6in/197cm height. Rip Champagne and others.

Day 8: What girl do you want to/have you pledged

Vodka

She's been very helpful to me for clearing out the normal and hard (the ones that doesn't ask for no magic souls) stages as well in the catacombs and in showdowns. She deserves good things and a pledge will be given to her once get off my lazy ass and and actually raise her fondness.

Day 7: What girls you use on your teams

For my main team: I use Vodka and Apple Pie along with Pizza, B-52 and Turkey to go through normal and hard stages. Sometimes I switch Vodka and Apple Pie with Bamboo and Mooncake for chests. Best team ever 👏. I also use this team for the catacombs, showdowns and sky showdowns.

For World Boss Aluna: I use Bibimbap and Apple Pie along with Sweet Tofu, Pizza and Turkey. Ever since I gave Apple Pie a staunch Azien (all purple stats), she was able to hold out all the way through the end with the help of Bibi and Sweet for keeping her alive. God bless AP's self heal and Bibi's buffs/debuffs/large aoe heal. Best team ever 👏

For World Boss Durga: I use Mooncake to debuff Durga's sheild since she's the only food soul I have that can debuff enemies. The rest of my team is Miso soup, Sweet Tofu, Pizza and Turkey to heal and deal damage. So far, they're doing good 👍.

For Guild Boss Floof: I use Tangyuan and Mooncake for link skill along with Sweet Tofu, Pizza and Turkey. Sometimes I make it all the way to the end. Sometimes I die early in the fight because the Gaint Floof decides to silence Tangyuan at the worst time :'). Overall, good team 👌.

Day 5: Favourite ship(s)

As a multishipper that knows no bounds or limits of creating ships, I have a good chunk of them in my head but I'm gonna narrow it down to 15 ships (5 ships for romantic, 5 ships for platonic and 5 ships that are in between) in this post.

Romantic Ships (in no order)

Gingerbread x Cheese (Gingy is a knight. Cheese is a princess. You get where I'm going with this.)

Spicy Gluten x Milk Tea (I just thought of this recently because I'm a huge sucker for polar opposites ships *wheeze*)

Crepe x Squirrel Mandarin Fish (a fancy girl hanging out with a wild girl. Seems about right 👌)

Milt x Cheese (tbh idk why I thought of this but I like to think some interesting stuff on how Milt shows her affection to Cheese and vice versa owo)

Champagne x Fondant Cake (I blame the turkey event for showing me this good scene between Champagne and Fondant Cake. Good stuff 👌)

Platonic Ships (in no order)

Cornbread + Apple Pie (I see them as sisters)

Cheese + Chocolate (I see them as friends that like to gossip about their lovers ;3)

Mooncake + Udon (the trickster duo)

Sakauramochi + Raindrop Cake (a friend that will support and love the sad boi no matter what until he becomes lively again)

Beer + Milk Tea (I think they would be good friends that loves to share stories and other forms of literature)

Ships that are inbetween (in no order)

It means that I ship these characters in both ways but mostly I lean to one side of these ships

Spicy Gluten and Whisky (before you burn me alive, I like to say that I mostly see them as odd rivals that like one up each other to see who can get the most kills. I do see some potential for them to be a couple but idk. Rivalry seems peferct for these two lol.)

Cheese and Bonito Rice (even though they have obivous animal ears, I like to think they can get a long quite well. I mean there will be a few bumps here and there if they date, but I think it will work out in the end.

Cheese and Eggnog (they really love to tease and play pranks on their friends. They could bond over this and become best friends. I do see some potential for them to date each other but idk.)

Cornbread and Milk Tea (two gals going on some crazy adventure that may or may not fall in love during their said adventures)

Bibimbap and Dragon's Beard Candy (tbh I ship them romantically but I'm kind of waiting for more info about Dragon's Beard Candy. So their in the void for the time being *wheeze*)

Day 4: Thing you like most about favourite girl

For Spicy Gluten: it's her personality and design that made me fell in love with her. I really love female characters that are sexy yet intimidating to people they meet. That's some good stuff right there 👌.

For Milk Tea: like Spicy, I love both her design and personality. She's a soft nerd that loves to gain knowledge about stuff and reading.

Day 3: Favourite NPC girl (and why)

Patty

Patty is an interesting NPC character because she claims to be god when she first meets the player and co yet she wears simple clothes with some jewelry here and there in her full body art. She doesn't dress all fancy or show how powerful she is when compared to Nian, Inugami and other characters that claim to be god/goddess. Then again, her bio states that she's old fashioned so it might have something to do on how she presents herself to others. I don't know much about her tbh but I would love to get to know her better because I want to know how she became god and all that good stuff.

Day 2: Favourite Female Fallen Angel (and why)

Thundaruda

Thundraruda is a pretty interesting Fallen Angel. Her design gives off this fierce leader vibe whenever I look at her and rightfully so. The color scheme of her design really suits her and so pleasing to look at while you get attacked by her birb minions. It makes wonder how exactly did she and Guarda came to be in Palata. While there's a small bio about Thundraruda in game, I want to know more about her as well with other Fallen Angels.

Day 1: Favourite Girl(s) (and why)

I like all the ff girls but if I have to choose 2 of them then it would be: Spicy Gluten and Milk Tea.

Spicy Gluten

The moment I saw her, I was like "Oh damn. She looks like she can kick my ass while looking fabulous." She reminds me of Bayonetta in a way: sexy, attractive, badass, looks fabulous when killing her enemies, flirty, and so on. She's not afraid to show brute force when she, or someone she knows, wants something (ex: Spicy basically choking the game owner to give Yuxiang an incense from the Turkey event). And that's what I love about her. A lady that will kick your butt to get what she wants without breaking a sweat.

Milk Tea

The fact Funtoy created this cutie based on my fave drink made me lose my mind. Look at her, she's so cute! Her designs screams soft nerd vibes based her floating books and luggage and gentle voice. Speaking of her voice, her jp voice sounds so soft and sweet like I would listen to her talk about whatever topic for hours. Like I can't get enough of listening to her voicelines. I just love her so much *weeps*.
