Telemarketer: (Middle Eastern accent, sounds like reading a script) Hi, I'm calling from Windows computers maintenance. This is a routine check up. Simply a check up, miss. Now is your computer on?

Me: (in the hallway away from my computer) Yes.

Telemarketer: Ok. Now look at your keyboard. Do you see the CTR key?

Me: The Control key?

Telemarketer: No no no. The CTR key. It's at the bottom left corner of your keyboard.

Me: Yea. The control key.

Telemarketer: No! The CTR..L key. At the bottom of your keyboard.

Me: Yes.

Telemarketer: Ok. Now look to the right. Which key is that?

Me: The windows key.

Telemarketer: Which key is it?

Me: The windows key.

Telemarketer: What?? Which key is it?!?

Me: The windows key.

Telemarketer: Yes. That is correct. Now do you see the R key? I need you to press Windows key and R key at the same time.

Me: Ok.

Telemarketer: Ok, what did it do?

Me: Nothing.

Telemarketer: No no no. What did it do?

Me: It didn't do anything. There's nothing on the screen.

Telemarketer: No! You need to turn your monitor on.

Me: Ok look, I know you're doing your job but could you please put us on your do not call list?
