Q-Force. Find my name in ep 5, 7, 8. After my gig with "Invincible" ended in December 2019, I didn't have another job lined up afterward and I wasn't a fan of living in LA. So I moved back home to San Francisco. I was unemployed living with my parents when the pandemic started. For 6 months, I had over 500 job apps submitted and plenty of rejections as I watched former coworkers learn to cope with working from home. Then in July 2020, I was recommended for a 3-wk gig as a revisionist on "Q-Force". Well 3 weeks turned into 3 months and it fulfilled my dream of working remotely from the Bay Area. If it weren't for the pandemic, I probably wouldn't have taken this job. Woman in the Book. I'm usually terrified of the horror genre but I gave it my all. So many firsts on this series. First time working as a board artist, first time working with a female director, first time boarding in Spanish, first time with a challenging and time-constrained production schedule. I'm so thankful to Jeanette Moreno King for bringing me onto this series in September 2020. Invincible is out! Find my name! --- In January 2019, I took a huge risk to move to LA and join this show as a storyboard revisionist. Living alone there for a year was one hell of a challenge but being alongside all of the amazing and talented artists I've had the pleasure to work with made each day a bit better. And seeing the completion of this show's first season made it all worth it. I'm so grateful to this show for taking a chance with me. I want to thank Justin and Chris Copeland for bringing me onto the team and to Cory Walker, Shaun O'Neil, Jay Baker, Vinton Heuk, William Ruzicka and Jeff Allen for fostering my skills. Lady Trieu is definitely my favorite character of Watchmen. Even more so because she's an Asian character, specifically Vietnamese. I instantly paid attention to her arc. She's a driven genius with confidence levels so high that I couldnt look away. Even her outfits got me. Although her outfits are very modern and western, there are hints of the ao dai's aesthetic within them. I got super excited when i saw her put on the khan dong. And a bonus thing, the actress has the same last name as me.
