a rare case of two Charaxes jasius on a single leaf, owing more to their lack of awareness than any sort of social tolerance, although a fight would surely break out if they realized one of the siblings is a whole instar ahead of the other. you'll have to excuse the poor lighting as this photo was taken on a beautiful autumn night at the pitch black hour of - let me check - ah yes, five pm

i don't remember what originally inspired me to start on this gramophone girl, but recently i found her in my wip folder and decided to finish the project. also finally got a chance to test this shiny copper filament and i love how it looks.

This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.

The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!
