A horrible DnD idea
A Kenku bard that can only speak through pop culture references
I once DMed a session in which one of my players was a kenku who could only repeat words he'd heard before (in the voice of the person he heard it from), so slowly built up a vocabulary over the course of the session.
His name was Polly.
