If you are thinking of travelling with your bike, you definitely need a bike cover. In some country they don’t allow you to bring your bike on the train unless it is fully covered.

Hello guys,

Last week i replaced my brompton grips to Ergon GA3. You will notice that the standard factory grips are slimmer than GA3 thus make it uncomfortable for a long ride. In terms of weight they are pretty much the same.

Changing my schwalbe marathon racer to kojak, inspired by brompton chpt3. This is a tread-less slick tyres and it is slightly thinner than standard brompton tyres, so i have to change the inner tube as well. Can’t wait to test it out!

Had fun riding the bike today around town. The Brompton gearing is impressive, despite having a smaller wheels than full size bike (only 16in) it’s still able to keep the pace at a decent speed. 

Btw we stopped at VCR cafe near Bukit Bintang for breakfast and coffee. The avocado toast is good :)

I will be travelling to Tokyo soon and planning to bring my Brompton with me for this trip. To make the bike lighter, i removed the rear rack and mudguards. 

Brompton S6R factory weigh at 12.1kg, and now it is 11.35kg :)

Not much but it is noticeable.

MKS Compact Ezy pedals just arrived. I ordered this from ebay, couple of weeks ago to replace my Brompton pedals. These pedal are smaller and lightweight. The best part is that it comes with quick release for both pedal.
