Study methods which works like magic
I have gone through tons of different study methods throughout my 17 years of lifetime here are some that worked best for me and for many people i know-
THE FEYMAN TECHNIQUE Why this technique? This helps to understand a topic in great depth and helps one to know where they are lacking. How to- 1. Choose a topic which you want to learn. 2. Pretend to teach it to a beginner which helps you to breakdown complex material to easy steps. 3. Pay attention to areas where you struggle to explain. Go back to your study material to review and fill in the information. 4. Repeat it until you can explain the topic with ease.
BLURTING METHOD Why this technique? A revision technique used for active recall to improve memory. How to- 1. Study the notes of the particular chapter/topic 2. Make a list of active recall questions while studying 3. Take a blank paper and write everything you know about the topic without looking at your notes 4. Check your notes to see if you missed anything.
MIND MAPPING Why this technique? Helps to visualise a topic which leads to better understanding . How to- 1. Start with a topic in the centre of page 2. Branch out with major titles 3. Creat a sub branch for each major title 4. Keep doing this to expand your mind map.
Remember it’s not about quantity it’s about quality.
Don’t try mugging, it is the worst way to ever study.

Study tips
do not run after the amount of time you study!! everyone’s brain is different it might take one to study 40 mins to remember a topic and other might need 2 hours. Everyone is different.
study for shorter intervals and take regular break. for example study for an hour take a small break for 10 mins and so on. when you take a break don’t go through your phone or tv. Our attention is like a muscle you need to give it a rest and watching tv and going through phone wouldn’t exactly help. Instead go out for walk or walk around in the room, get yourself some water, listen to instrumental music, etc. Make sure to not do anything that fully diverts your attention.
don’t write everything in your notes! this is one of the major mistakes i did, if the information doesn’t help you/you don’t need, don’t write it down in your notes.
don’t study late at night/early in the morning if you can’t focus. If you are not a night person don’t beat yourself by studying late till night instead take a good night rest and wake up early to study and vice versa.
always keep reviewing past topics. i know it hard, but if you keep in touch with the old topic it really helps you during finals. try to review old topic once a month.
keep yourself healthy. Health over study, do remember to take care of yourself, give yourself breaks, go easy on yourself, have time to heal and then study again no need to rush.
these were some tips that helped me let me know if you want a part 2 :)
