This point in my military career I'm married, with a child on the way and this is my last time deploying. A lot of new feelings but I'm grateful for those who are looking after my wife while I'm gone.

The last year and a half has been one of the hardest years to overcome. Today I am 100% sober, stronger and happier than I thought I could ever be. This evening I found out that my fiancé and I are expecting our first child in May. I have no idea how I'm going to handle being a parent but this is by far the best thing to ever happen to me.
