I think the fan art where jasper doesn’t know about basic earth stuff (like how peridot or even lapis had to learn stuff) is super silly because she spent 500 years on earth. of course she’d know about weather, and the difference between an animal and a corrupted gem.

but you know what I am here for? jasper can’t be assed to learn the difference between animal species. bears are big cool dogs. cats are runty lions.
