Little Rant About Japanese and Korean
Since I was a child, I was always interested in Japanese culture. Anime, Japanese food, speaking Japanese, and it was my favorite part of history class.
子供の時、日本の文化が好きです。アニメと日本語を話すことが好きでした。歴史の授業で日本語は一番好きだSubject.
Of course, I did not learn everything yet, but I feel as if I have been well versed in Japanese culture.

As for Korean culture, I am still learning many new things and because of I that, I am taking more interest in it at the moment.
한국의 문화가 새관점을 아직 배으고 있어서 지금 더 재미 있어요.
Have I lost interest in Japan? Not at all. It’s still one of my dream countries to live in. I get really upset when the only culture people know of Japan is Anime, Sushi, and Ramen. There is a lot more to it than just those. However, until I come back into learning more things about Japan, I want to learn Korean culture too.
日本が好きじゃありませんか？いいえ。その国に住みたいです。아니메하고 수시하고 라면만 알아の時、幸せじゃありません。文化はたくさんがあります。でも、日本の文化をもっと習いたいの時まで、韓国の文化も習いたいです。
One reason I like doing this is because if I stay on one topic for too long, I get bored. I also like to compare cultures, especially since the two have related history. I love seeing the connections between their cultures and their roots in China (another culture I would like to learn about).
So am I completely absorbed into Korea? Again, not at all. I will admit I reference it more and talk about it more, but that is because I know my friends know a lot about Japanese culture and to talk about it every time could become boring.
Also, my friends seems to misunderstand what Japanese culture is. As if everyone in Japan is exactly like anime characters. And when you try to correct them to help them out, they get upset. I said it before, I am only allergic to ignorance, so I avoid it.
I am really not sure where this rant was supposed to go, but I think my point here is that I know where I am coming from and where I am going. So people should stop assuming they know what I am doing with myself when it comes to studying cultures and languages
