Jax rolled out of bed, yawning when he heard knocking on his door. He had been up for two straight nights working on songs and looking for a new job. He quickly threw on his sleeping pants and rushed to the door. He was shocked to see Chaz there but smiled at him. “hey,what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you so early?”

“It’s six in the evening, but that doesn’t matter to me right now. I need to tell you something that I’ve been holding back for a while now..” Chaz leaned in and cupped Jax’s face with one of his hands before giving him a deep kiss. “These are for you, first off.” He held out the flowers and smiled at him. “Jax, I came over to tell you this. I can’t stop thinking about you. I get excited every time your texts light up my phone. My heart skips a beat every time I get lost in those beautiful eyes of yours… Jax, I’m in love with you.”

"it's what!? Fuck....I...I must have fallen asleep..." He muttered rubbing the back of his neck. "Umm what? What did you have to tell me?" Jax asked a bit scared. "Oh these are beautiful," he blushed as he took the flowers , the flowers were truely beautiful. Jax felt his heart skip a beat..."you...you love me?"

Chaz pulled up to Jax’s house and parked. He took a breath and got out of the car, straightening his clothes up after. He was hoping the other was home. He reached in and grabbed the bouquet of flowers off the seat and walked up to the door in his best clothing, then knocked. Chaz waited nervously for Jax to answer the door.

Jax smiled as he sat at the bar and watched Chaz move around his kitchen. It was weird but nice and Jax liked it alot. Jax nodded, “i remember, you told me alot about your abuela.” he said with a small smile. “You did? Chaz, you didnt have to do that,”

“I wanted to. You’re very special to me, and I make Abuela’s recipe for those I care about.” Chaz gave him a smile. “I also made my favorite recipe for dessert, and fried plantains and arepas to go with Abuela’s favorite dish.” Once everything was sat out, he put the basket off the counter. “And I brought over some wine, too.”

Jax blushed when Chaz told him he was special to him, and that is why ge brought over this dish for them. “I...Your special to me as well Chaz,” he told him before getting up and grabbing a pair of glasses, “ ummm ill pour us the wine than,” he blushed feeling extra nervous

“You are the best Chaz,” he smiled a bit as he followed him into the kitchen, something about how well the man knew his home gave Jax butterflies.

“I try.” Chaz laughed a little as he unpacked the food, having butterflies of his own. He was nervous and excited to have Jax try one of his Abuela’s favorite recipes. “Remember how I told you I was born in Colombia? I made one of my Abuela’s favorite recipes.”

Jax smiled as he sat at the bar and watched Chaz move around his kitchen. It was weird but nice and Jax liked it alot. Jax nodded, “i remember, you told me alot about your abuela.” he said with a small smile. “You did? Chaz, you didnt have to do that,”
