Tony looked over at Chaz and bit his lip. Chaz was there when he went through his horrible break up period and it wasn’t pretty. He wanted to swear off dating all together and if that’s what was happening again he was going to swear off dating and sex all together but he really hoped not. “I’m going to think positive. Because I have a strong feeling everything will work out but it’s just those nasty thoughts that come creeping up in the middle of the night.”he said. Tony grabbed Chaz’s hand and squeezed it. “Your guy will come around too. I know it. I agree we should.”

“I think it’s all going to work out, too.” Chaz told him with his best smile on his face. The hand squeezing made his smile even bigger. “I hope he does. I know he’s been really busy finding work. Maybe I should surprise him sometime.” He bumped Tony with his hip. “Well, what do you want to do? The night is young and so are we!”

Tony nodded. He knew that Chaz would be honest with him and give him his honest opinion. It’s why he admired most about his best friend/brother. “Thank you. I guess it’s just my brain trying to sabotage me and over think and maybe from my horrible breakup that I’m having PTSD but you know the guy I went on a date with. We haven’t talked in months and I’m sure it’s because he’s on a tour or busy rehearsing for a play or concert but those negative thoughts are rising to the front.”

Chaz sat on the couch beside Tony. He listened carefully, and knew what it was like when Tony had went through the horrible breakup. “I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t heard form the guy you went on a date with. You’re right. Maybe he is rehearsing and doesn’t have much time to talk right now.” He took a breath. “You know, I haven’t heard from the guy I like for a while. Maybe we should do something to keep our minds busy and off of them.”

Tony sat on his couch with his head in his hands. “In the living room.”he called out. When he saw Chaz he smiled small. “Do you think I’m dateable? I know you have your boyfriend Chaz and you’re happy but I just need your honest opinion and I know you’ll give it to me”.

Chaz walked into the living room with a small smile. He looked over at Tony. “I think you are more than dateable. Guys who overlook you are crazy.” He told his friend honestly. “What brought this on?”

Chaz got in his car and headed toward Tony's place. He quickly got out of the car as soon as he got there and headed inside. "Hey brother. I got your back."

“That I do. We’re a bunch of homebodies that like to stay close to our family, friends and pets too.”Tony smiled. He took a breath and nodded. “I hope so. I mean I heard about this guy before and he loves to pummel his opponents into the mats so I hope I’m quick enough on my feet to keep that from happening. Definitely will need you help. You’re my sparring partner.”

“We definitely are.” He nodded. “That guy sounds like a real piece of work. I know you will be quick on your feet.” He put his hand on Tony’s shoulder. “Awesome, I’ll definitely keep you on your toes.”

Tony hugged Chaz back and patted over his back and kept him in the hug for a bit longer before pulling away. “Dude you don’t have to be sorry at all. You gotta make appearances and if you didn’t then everyone would be wondering where you were.”he said. “The hardest I’ve ever trained before let me tell you. I brought in someone to give me some pointers and he’s kicking my ass. This fighter is above my weight grade.”

“That’s true, but you know me. I’d rather either be playing or spending time with friends or at home chilling with Immy.” He said before listening to Tony speak about the match. “I see. I know if you train hard, you got this. If you need someone to hold the bag for you, I’m here now. I can help.”

“it’s what!? Fuck….I…I must have fallen asleep…” He muttered rubbing the back of his neck. “Umm what? What did you have to tell me?” Jax asked a bit scared. “Oh these are beautiful,” he blushed as he took the flowers , the flowers were truely beautiful. Jax felt his heart skip a beat…“you…you love me?”

Chaz smiled and nodded. “Yes. I’ve known it for a while, but I was scared you wouldn’t take it well.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “There’s just something about you, something that draws my heart to you.”

Tony was finishing putting things away making his place look somewhat presentable when he heard the front door open. He knew who it was and he got a huge smile on his face. “Big bro!! I’ve missed you.”Tony hugged Chaz back and patted his back

Chaz hugged Tony tightly and patted his back as well. “Sorry I’ve been gone. It’s been hectic with appearances and all that.” He took a pause. “Anyway, tell me about this big match that you’re training for!” he pulled away to look at his best friend.

It didn’t take long for Chaz to get over to Tony’s place. He got out and stretched before going up to the door and entering the house. Chaz had a smile on his face and opened his arms wide. “Bro!”

Jax rolled out of bed, yawning when he heard knocking on his door. He had been up for two straight nights working on songs and looking for a new job. He quickly threw on his sleeping pants and rushed to the door. He was shocked to see Chaz there but smiled at him. “hey,what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you so early?”

“It’s six in the evening, but that doesn’t matter to me right now. I need to tell you something that I’ve been holding back for a while now..” Chaz leaned in and cupped Jax’s face with one of his hands before giving him a deep kiss. “These are for you, first off.” He held out the flowers and smiled at him. “Jax, I came over to tell you this. I can’t stop thinking about you. I get excited every time your texts light up my phone. My heart skips a beat every time I get lost in those beautiful eyes of yours... Jax, I’m in love with you.”
