I am humbled to be able to call her my friend, especially when I’ve been fan-girling over her work for over a decade and a half. To witness Alexis consistently grow and hone the craft of storytelling has been so awe-inspiring, it’s hard not to be a fan. I genuinely couldn’t be any happier and prouder for her and her achievements. I can’t wait for what’s in store for Alexis, because I know it’s going to be an incredible journey 🥹

Hiram and Veda completely captured my heart while reading, and bringing them to life in this piece felt like the perfect way to celebrate Sight Unseen and everything Alexis has created.
For those who love Enemies to Lovers (begrudgingly allies), Mystery, Hurt/Comfort/Healing, Slow Burn, Sexual Tension (the type to make you flail your feet), Found Family, and a healthy sprinkle of magic, this book is SO up your alley!

In true chaotic fashion, I’ve been on quite the journey and rather busy behind the scenes over the past year. I’ve been holding on to this for months, so I’m thrilled to finally be one step closer to sharing Veda and Hiram – plus Antaris, the magic and lore of this world, and Proventia. I can’t wait to unravel this mystery with you.
Sight Unseen has lived in my head and heart for a long time. It’s not a rewrite, it's a love letter to the heart of a certain very long fic of mine. It means the world to be able to bring it into yours as my debut novel.
I’ve been asked about publishing in the past, and since writing began as an outlet for me, I always believed it was out of reach, so this whole experience has been surreal and humbling – filled with plenty of silent screaming (like my screaming cat PFP) but also so much joy in exploring my creativity.
I wouldn’t be here without so many wonderful people: my agent, who has brainstormed with me, believed in this book, and guided me through every step of the process; my family and friends, who kept me sane and yelled at me to hydrate along the way (I’d name them all, but there’s a word count limit, I’m sure). My editors and the entire team at 47North, who truly saw my vision and helped me carry it across the finish line and into life. And lastly, every fellow member of fandom -reader, writer, and lurker who supported my chaotic shenanigans (wordiness and all).
