JAYSON ✨ :
“Now that is stretching the laws of the universe but I’ll let you have those funny thoughts.” She pressed another sweet kiss to his lips, grinning up at him in response to his question despite how painful the past truly is for both of them. “We keep it behind us, since now we have each other and nothing can ruin that.” Feeling her hand above his heart had managed to keep her grounded while his words had her floating in cloud nine. “Don’t you dare-” She barely got out before he had her over his shoulder. She squealed happily, hands holding onto him in support. “That’s because it is a good bribe just like I’ll make a good bride!” She managed to speak through her laughter. “You pervert!”
“Mhm,” Matthew nodded indifferently to her words, already gone at the word universe, since anything outside of his little world couldn’t really grab his attention. The girl in front of him, who he wanted to pick up and swing her arms and legs around him, that was real and really here rocking his world. So what more could he need? “You gotta admit that it kind of makes you wonder what the opposite of you would be like though? Or me for that matter.” He continued his funny thoughts although he wouldn’t want her to be anybody else. Kissing her back and hearing her words, brought all sorts of relief. "You’re right, no looking back,” He agreed although there was one little nuance he had to make, “Except on these last few weeks maybe, because I’m having a blast spending this summer with you, love,” It’s true. The only shouting that had gone down was when the engineers had turned off his mic on stage or yelling how crazy it was to hijack a tour bus before they’d both decided it was a great idea nonetheless. It was all done in the name of love and if marriage was one of her crazy ideas, then heck, he might come around to it one day. “You really need a big ass party to become partners for life, huh?” He sat her down on the countertop, pretending to think about it but it was hard to do anything other than laugh along with her. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I guess I’ll keep the honeymoon thoughts far away from here as well.” Matt joked.
"Somehow, I believe that if were opposite we still would've found each other. My soul feels like its made for yours." Thise words had come to her on the fly but still retained every bit of authenticity to them. "This summer and the times with you are worth looking back to. Our pasts before that is something we can leave behind." She didn't want to remember a time when she didn't know Matthew. It just felt so...unnatural. "I mean what do you expect? We met during a party, might as well lay our single lives to rest with one right?" She'd marry Matthew in a heartbeat no matter ridiculous that might seem to someone else given their age. Be it an extravagant event or an getting eloped in Las Vegas, she'd be up for either in the blink of an eye. After all her love for him is the one thing that did make her believe in the significance of being married. "Oh please, baby you know you love the idea of nice white lingerie on me. I'll even buy spare sets so you can practice taking them off." She smirked at him, wanting to pull him in for another kiss as she sat upon the counter but the anticipation of seeing his face when he laid eyes on the cake seemed far too priceless. Ironically, in a very purposeful and humorous way, she got his cake in the shape of a book, his precious notebook to be exact.
