I hope you all enjoyed this :) there will be more to come, especially once my ao3 account gets made. I have finished chapter one, and chapter two is now in the process of being writen.

What is Darkest Before Dawn? DBD is a rewrite of my two favorite arcs: Power of Three, and Omen of the Stars. it is semi-canon compliant, although a lot is also subject to change! I do hope that people find enjoyment in this, but it's also mostly just to give voice to fun headcanons I have, or to give the words constantly bouncing around in my head room to properly stretch.

Why?

I thought it would be fun to integrate some ideas I came up with and thought would be fun!!! I'm hoping to surpass the quality of the original two, not because I think I'm a better writer, but because I truely love these arcs and characters.

Essentially, this is my love letter to Warrior Cats.

When?

Short answer? I don't know. Progress is slow as is, and I'm in the middle of moving. I'm hoping that if this gets enough traction, it'll motivate me more :3 (cough... reblogs would be nice, although not necessary🥹)
