So… I went to the movies last night and watched Halloween Ends. And that thing that Halloween(2018) and Halloween Kills had… is no longer here. Had a retro feeling, we knew, saw and felt that this was a Halloween OG sequel, even Halloween Kills it’s the sequel from the sequel and that idea than everything happened the same night was gorgeous, felt like Resident Evil trilogy video games with everything happening at the same time and see the whole town hunting Michael while Laurie was at the hospital… Great!
Now Halloween Ends it’s what Halloween (2018) didn’t pretend to be… a requel (reboot/revival-sequel) and it feels different and bad. That thing about a ‘New Michael Mayers’ felt like a pretended reboot or something… can’t say anything else.
Watch it by yourselves, I didn’t like it, bad ending for a 40 years-old franchise. Hope this was the actually ending.
