The melting pot of global society dropped the bomb on the Japanese. Godzilla burned down Tokyo. All for what? So we can watch flat screens and eat pizza on our couches. If you look at at the world from above, it seems like a distant place. Have you ever stood in your neighbors yard and looked at your own house? It is a sight you haven’t seen before, of something so familiar, you feel it is a part of you. And yet from this view, you are separated. Sort of like when we first saw ourselves in pictures or on tv. We think the last hundred years happened slowly. In the scheme of things, we’re a blink away from the end. The final scene of the movie. And now, we are watching our world fall apart on screens, inside our ticky tacky boxes. with our phones,we can talk across the world and beyond. phone home. We better make it off this rock soon. But it won’t matter for us, if we do. It will be only our finest representatives. Justin Timberlake and Anne Hathaway spawning the next earth. Both have shown a softer side, a comedic side and an “I’m a badass from the future” side.
