Yeah, I know I am just very weird.  It comes with being a father of a nine year old.

Short backstory:

Jayden has lived in Ecrin all of his life, he has never set one foot outside of Ecrin. It is something that has always bothered Jayden and he knew that he wanted to get out. His parents told him long ago that if he ever left he would be disowned so that is what made him stay in Ecrin even though he hated it. His parents set it in stone that when he was old enough he would take over the family business, Andrews Publishing LLC. He was never really one for books until Harry Potter came out and he would sit in his room all day and all night just reading and rereading those books. There were some days when he would finish Harry Potter in a few hours. Mr. Andrews wasn’t very fond of the books that got his son interested in reading but he was just happy that his son was one step closer to becoming the boss of the business. When Jayden was 18 he got his high school sweetheart pregnant and his parents were furious. So furious that they kicked him out of the house to move in with his girlfriend, whom they called a tramp and a whore for brainwashing their son. Soon after she told him that she was pregnant, Jayden proposed and they were going to live happily ever after. The nine months that his fiancé was pregnant were the worst nine months of Jayden’s life. She wasn’t the girl that he thought she was at all. She did drugs to try to kill the baby but Jayden was always there to tell her to stop or to take her to the hospital quickly to make sure everything was okay. Everything seemed fine after that, that was until the last week of her ninth month she threw herself down the stairs in attempts to kill the “demon” that was growing inside of her. Jayden rushed her to the hospital and that is when they put her in the mental ward. After his daughter Alyvia was born Jayden got full custody of her and his fiancé got arrested for trying to harm herself while in the hospital. Jayden went back to his parents’ house and they welcomed him and his new born daughter with open arms. They knew that what they did was wrong and they wished that they could have saved him sooner, but they understood that he had to stay with his ex in order to make sure his daughter was okay. When Alyvia was 7 Jayden’s mother and father were both killed in a car crash. In his father’s will he asked that Jayden take over the family business. Even though his parents and him had a rough time he needed to do this for his father as he knew it is what he wanted him to do. Now at the age of 27 Jayden has not only published over 100 books he has also written and self-published three of his own books. With his nine year old daughter in the third grade, Jayden has taken the time to learn how to write children’s books as well so he could help Children learn how to read. Having a child of his own has really helped Jayden grow up and help him realize that love comes in all different shapes and sizes. Jayden loves Ecrin so much that he never wants to leave. 

Personality:

Jayden is a very soft spoken person since he had been through a lot in the 27 years that he had been around.  His daughter, Alyvia, is his world and he never wants that to change.  The fact that she is now nine years old and is growing up to be a heart breaker among the other little boys means that he never wants to let her out of his sight.  However he doesn’t want to become that dad.

Yeah– getting to travel through time would be pretty interesting. I think I’d want to travel into the future though. See how things have changed.
