"you and me. lying in your bed together. with all the pictures of me hanging on this wall." seunghwаn turns his head to the side—a collage of her staring back at him. he traces every picture with his eyes, the stories behind them passing his mind slowly. this one was taken in a mall, when she was shopping for a halloween party at her friend's. the one on the left is from a parking lot next to a public library, she holds a bag with newly bought russian books he has later read translations of. the one in the center—his favorite one—is her sleeping in her bed. he had to climb a tree under her window to take this photo, but it was so worth it. she looks so unguarded here. he stares at this picture every nuight until he falls asleep—seeing her calm face helps him relax and feel closer to her than he actually is. he turns his head and sees her staring back at him. she is here, actually here: in his bed, with nothing but his blanket over her body, pink marks spread all over her shoulders. she's realer than he has ever imagined, she's unbearably gorgeous and unbearably his.
