It’s so good to see you on here again! I’ve been meaning to hop back into roleplaying myself too, so maybe once I get the ball rolling we can get back to our usual mischief! XD

Hmm... Maybe if I draw out the different versions, I’ll have better luck choosing.

I really wanna get this blog rolling again, cuz I miss interacting with you guys.

However, slight problem:

When I first made this blog, Jay was (and still is) first and foremost a self-insert character. Thing is, I’m a different person now than I was when I first started. The biggest difference is my gender: Jay is female, but I now identify as non-binary. On the one hand, I’d like to change them to reflect that, but at the same time, Jay is kind of her own character too, and I’m not sure if that would confuse matters.

Secondly, I have... like... 5 different AU versions of Jay now, and I need to know which one to stick with to once again cut down on confusion. We got the one in Lalotai, but I’ve also come up with versions for the Villainous universe, one infected by a symbiote, one that has a SQUIP, a pokemon trainer, etc. and I know I can’t do them all at once, so I gotta pick.

I’d love any thoughts, opinions and advice on this while I try to draw Jay. Whatever happens, I needed to update her design anyway.

I can draw and animate without getting distracted or losing motivation.

I’m trying my best to reach that.

You’re relaxing with your f/o on the couch. There’s raining pelting against the windows but besides that it’s completely quiet and serene. The two of you are cuddled up with one another, your f/o tracing little imaginary shapes and patterns onto your back with their fingers as they occasionally press their lips to the top of your head in the form of a tender kiss.

“Oh he didn’t even have to break a sweat. I on the other hand had to go through Plans A through 32 to catch his attention. Worth it though.”

opal: How does your f/o compliment you?

"His way of complimenting people he likes in general is... odd... I mean, he’s not human, but he’s trying. He told me my veins were a lovely shade of blue once, and there was another time where he said I’d look particularly intimidating with fangs, and more often than not, it’s along the lines of ‘You’re less annoying than most humans’ but I get the sentiment regardless.”

“I call him generic stuff like ‘hon’ which he HATES, but since he often just calls me ‘girl’ or ‘you there’ in front of his clients, I feel justified.”
