Mara, Gideon and Kai

Mara is a slender build long haired brunette, with soft green eyes. She walks with purpose. She carries herself confidently and yearns to be understood. She wears clothing that is modern and casual, jeans, slacks, loose shirts, she also wears dresses when it is hot or deemed appropriate. She wears dresses in the woods and wraps them high when hiking.

Gideon appears to be in his 50s to 60s, an attractive older man, with gray and brown hair that goes pass his ears slightly. Gray blue eyes that are tired but soft for Mara. He carries himself like a leader, or a captain. He dresses very formal in the first book, but more casual in other appearances. His out of time apparel is what makes Mara so curious about him in the first place.

Kai is young, a ginger curly haired green eyed troublemaker. He is muscular and lean. He dresses casual, earthy tones. He is a scout and collects "electronic junk" He loves music, is in a band, and enjoys being out in nature. He is confident, and sly, like a fox. He is hiding secrets.
