Recently, I heard about this campaign called "Sock on a Cock". Now it got me thinking. Are they trying to raise awareness for animal cruelty and materialism? Putting Hanes on your rooster is cruel. I can only imagine the grueling process of stretching your cotton thread over your poor, defenseless rooster. Seriously? Why could it not be something different? Hanes, Fruit of The Loom or whatever sports sock you put on so that you can tell your friends that you take your recreational sports playing (whether it be playing once on Saturday, not playing at all and being a stats nerd with your sports or playing video games is another matter). Why would I want to give a million-dollar corporation FREE advertisement on my animals? Why a rooster in the first place? Was a puppy, kitten or infant too safe of a choice?

Nickelodeon is planning to premiere a new sitcom called Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, Dawn. As of March 13th 2014, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, Dawn was picked up for 13 episodes. Now, let me tell you why I predict this show will be unoriginal, nothing new and not picked up past a year or two.

Wendell & Vinnie (Didn't even last a year)
iCarly (Pretty decent in views but just a modern Drake and Josh from you know who's perspective)
Victorious (Pretty decent, but couldn't last with Ariana Grande's endeavors)
and your opinions with those shows are how they are.
Not to mention, Sam (iCarly) and Cat (Victorious) didn't last more than one season, this show has recycled trash written all over it. For a network which exhibits understanding on the ol' phrase "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle", they certainly are putting the concept to the wrong medium. They tend to reuse the same stars, reduce on any originality besides the premise (because two girls starting a webshow and two girls living together off of babysitting is polar opposites) and recycle the comedy that wasn't funny in the first place. I also love how they went to great shows like Modern Family and Two and a Half Men. Just because they don't use the traditional nick stars doesn't mean anything changes. Even if there is a few or a complete wave of new writers, the big name producers and executives on this project is the same. So as far as I am concerned, expect this to be just as short as 2 seasons. Hell, I'll bet it won't last over three unless a certain section of America (or the world) just starts watching this like porn. I don't know much about writers except Grabriel Garza (new guy) and Jonathan Butler, the genius behind the Haunted Hathaways (might want to say goodbye to this) and Fanboy and Chum Chum (got crammed into Nicktoons at 6am where I live). If you think I'm just being judgemental, answer me this. How many plots did iCarly do that Sam and Cat, Victorious or even this new show CAN'T do? Not many because its situational comedy. They don't need to push new shows up our butts. Just get new writers and tell a better story. Sitcoms are built on comedy. Great sitcoms have enormous platforms of gut-busting comedy.

Now I know in the post I wrote poetry, so there will be poetry. I also said it would be my poetry. But I must make a few exceptions to this post. This will be my written words, meaning Prose, Poetry or Drama. I will also feature other works, usually new ones, that have caught my eye. I try to avoid overly ambiguous pieces that have enough substance to be a subtle work but overall, isn’t really good, just…fits the groove.
But you didn’t come here for that. You came for my written word. So here we go.
INT: The Snowy Mountains of Orane
We can’t lock up war for killing lady serenity. Nor can we lock up ignorance for kidnapping rationality. Each clan knew this but a chain reaction happens for a reason and our minds aren’t always capable of processing consequences and possibilities at such a fast rate. People might say the Grizzlies’ aggression started this all. Others say it was the Polars’ annoyance and constant drive for equality or the Sun’s retaliation and indifference for the whole situation. But most people would agree the Panda’s consistent need to be the authority was the principle factor in the war’s start and end.
Orane was roughly shaped like a rhombus and the territories were separated into five territories. The North End was for the Pandas. The South End was for the Polars. The middle of the island was separated into thirds. There was a lake that began in the North and ended at a huge lake around the center. The river would have continued but there was a huge mountain range that barricaded the river from going anymore south. The left of the lake was for the Grizzlies. The right was for the Suns. But the mountains were reserved for the sloths, or the elders of Orane.
Everyone respected the Sloths because as history would say, they have roamed Orane for a long time. There was a time when each bear would have the entire island free but the mysterious death of the first Slothmaster, the other three went into hiding and ever since, lady serenity died.

The song by Outkast featured on the double-disc album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is one of those songs that are not singles because they are too good to be a single for the album. Singles are usually put out because the content of the song is marketable and the customer likes the singles put out so, in most cases, the album would feature the similar material. This wasn't the case.

You know why Big Boi's portion of the album, Speakerboxxx, wasn't as praised as Andre 3000's portion, The Love Below?
Songs like Vibrate.
With a Jazzy, Psychedelic touch to a hip hop groove, Vibrate is one of those songs that you can listen to for hours. It has a beat that is reversed and a saxophone playing forwards which created a beautiful effect. The lyrics aren't exactly insightful, in fact they repeat and so does the song itself but repetition is boring when done wrong and great when done right, begging for the song to be on repeat despite little change. Andre 3000's voice is accompanied by a voice much deeper than his (take notes A$AP Rocky*). The song goes on for over five minutes. Pure bliss. Is it perfect? Could be. But a masterpiece isn't perfect, it just shows an immense understanding of what a song should be about.

I was slightly skeptical to start this. I really was and I still am. I posted things here and there when I started but when I put in work I started getting followers. I still remember the first piece of artwork I put up that got me likes. But that isn't the remarkable part. Around early June was the last time I posted. Ever since then, I gained more and more followers for doing absolutely nothing. I still have people who request things and I feel as though I am not only a voice, but one that can be listened to. I mean, there is people on tumblr who have a bigger voice than me and I'm sure 20+ followers is nothing to most people but I cherish each and every one of you. So I am here to say thanks. I have received likes for my IMVU edits, my interior design and fashion, my Poetry, quirky things found on the internet and my music reviews. But I don't want to exhaust myself and sacrifice quality for quantity.
Therefore my schedule will go as followed.

This will be effective Friday. Now, just because I am following this strict schedule doesn't mean I don't accept requests. I appreciate and read each and every one of them. I am no snob. I put effort and good judgement into what I post even though I am not obligated to do so. This is a hobby and something I enjoy.
