Yeah, she’s awesome. She actually brought me to get my first tattoo. My grandmother is like a combination of all four ladies which makes for one sassy grandma. Rose is nice, though, so you got that going. Sophia can get away with anything, though! I’d say, probably Sophia. I give people advice even when they don’t want it. Plus I’m short, which kind of seals the deal. Picture it... Orlando, 1998...
Just another manic Monday and I’m finding myself with a cold, a mug of tea and The Golden Girls on TV. Somebody please tell me I’m not turning into my grandmother... or at least not yet. Give me five more years, then I’m good. I hope no one else is sick.

Yeah, yeah, just… bruised ego. Geez, man, that sounds awful, but I totally get it. You can’t just leave your place to go all the way to the coffee shop, get your coffee and not enjoy it. If it meets some terrible fate, you need to get yourself a new one, those are the rules, right?
Ouch... yeah. So I was going to make a joke about ice already being there for your bruise but then I realized that I’m not a comedian and I probably shouldn’t try to be funny. Coffee is a treasure, so it must be enjoyed no matter what! It is one of those rules. Must have coffee or the world will end? I think that’s a bumper sticker.

There are times I wished I’d gone into life as a restaurateur. There’s joy in putting together an excellent meal, watching people enjoy the evening. But I think of what I’d lose without my rooms and that I cannot accept.
Once a week is fine for now.

I always imagined teachers had very specific teacher things they did when they had downtime. Lesson plans, gearing up for lessons, watching musicals to get you in the theatre teaching mood, planning out future projects, whatever it is that you do.
We don’t all grade papers just for fun, haha. I mean, I do that too, in my free time, but I like to go out too, and now I can actually say that since the weather is letting up. I like to explore the city too. It’s changed a lot since I’ve been here.

I slipped on ice and dropped my coffee this morning. Had to go all the way back to the coffee shop to get another one and rush back to my place to change. Still unsure if it was worth it, really.
Ouch. Are you okay, though? Glad I’m not the only one with the coffee addiction. One time I dropped it two seconds after I got into my car. Drove a block and bought another one.

Is NYC where you came from? Given it’s been colder here than it has been in New York City, at least this year, the weather must’ve come as a shock for you. People think California and they think eternal sunshine. Go out to one of the clubs around here and with those curls you wouldn’t have trouble getting someone to come home with you. Do you enjoy roller skating? Which sports? You could always try to learn something new. Knitting’s pretty doable indoors, and it’s useful to boot.
I’m from Florida, so we have our share of cold weather but nothing like this. I didn’t expect it to get that cold! Haha, yeah. In L.A. it’s summer all year. In San Francisco, you have fog. It’s a very strange state. Haha, are you encouraging me to go out and turn up my flirting game to get laid? I do! I think it’s fun. I can watch basketball! I can knit. I’m not good at it, but I managed to make a pretty decent scarf once.
