I was thinking about some headcanons regarding Aye and Dexter's relationship...
aaaand I want to share them!!
Dexter is a good "chef"; in fact, I think his mother passed down all her recipes to him, which he follows to the letter. Most of the time, he adds new ingredients to improve them, but there’s a problem: he doesn’t do it with love, so even though his food is good and healthy, it doesn’t taste as good—or it’s very bland. Dexter sees cooking as just another science and not as an expression of love, unlike Aye, who expresses her love (for her family, friends, and boyfriend) through food. She memorizes the favorite dishes of all her loved ones, and clearly Dexter is no exception.
He often lets his robot servants do the cooking when she’s too busy working.
Aye really loves sweet foods and desserts (which is why she’s a little chubby), while Dexter prefers sour candies. He loves coffee, but she doesn't.
Aye goes to bed really early; she always falls asleep before Dexter (and we all know he spends all day and night on his lab). When the two of them have some alone time to watch a movie, she always falls asleep first.
Dexter is the "little spoon".
We know that when they were kids, Dexter was afraid of her; his huge eyes and creepy behavior gave him the creeps. Now that he’s grown up, he acts (arrogantly) as if he’s no longer afraid of her and boasts about his bravery—something he can’t prove when it comes to Aye’s father, whom he’s very afraid of (He's a very tall, burly man with an unfriendly face) most of the time, Dexter runs away to avoid having to face Aye’s dad.
Aye's dad and Dexter's dad get along very well because they share a common interest: golf. The thing is, Dexter's dad engages in long conversations without realizing at first that Aye's dad is deaf.
As they grow up and get married, Dexter and Aye have two children: the older one is named Billy, a boy obsessed with nature and animals; the younger one is named Dolly, an adventurous girl who loves robots and dreams of becoming a hero just like her father. Both of them have a very strong sense of justice.

Only a few people know Aye's real name—her parents and Dexter. This is because Dexter is a genius; you can't hide anything from him, and eventually he finds out. In any case, Aye trusts him deeply, which is why she tells him her real name, and he's the only person she talks to most often (after her best friend, Lalavava).
When it comes to his intelligence, most people don't understand how Dexter can understand Aye just by looking at her, to which he always replies that he's a genius, so of course he can understand her.
She pays close attention to everything about him—his tastes, his lifestyle, and even his ideals—so she did her best to help him with his schoolwork and lab work, even though most of the time she was a huge hindrance.
Aye is very patient and calm, unlike Dexter, who is more confrontational; however, it’s important to note that most of Dexter’s crash out are caused by his sister—in general, he is reserved, calm, and principled. She doesn’t see the need to fight with him over trivial matters, and even when he tries to argue with her, Aye’s calmness allows him to realize for himself whether his anger is genuine or if he’s just being rude.
♡ Shared interests
Aye and Dexter like the same kind of music (funky, soul, groove).
They like slasher, thrillers, and suspense movies. Although at first Dexter just wanted to look brave in front of her (because he doesn't like violence), eventually watching those kinds of movies together became a shared interest and a habit.
If Dexter doesn't choose to go to the prom with Lee-lee, he spends the night watching movies with Aye.
Aye loves computers just as much as Dexter does!
When they're teenagers, the internet of the 2000s takes off!
♡ Aye is a very introverted and quiet girl; she spends a lot of time online writing novels, chatting with her best friend Lalavava, and reading romantic stories.
♡ She's a photographer too, so she shares the photos she's taken, always share the photos with Dexter.
♡ Dexter and Aye keep in close contact online, Dexter finds her a bit annoying, but he worries when she hasn't sent him a message in a while. Sometimes they spend nights chatting until Aye falls asleep.
♡ Aye knows a little bit about computers and programming, so I don't think he could create an operating system like Dexter… But hey, who knows!
