Hello everyone! It’s been a long while. College is terrible as always but we continue to work on different cosplays.

We are currently working on Haikyuu and Persona 4 cosplays the most. I’m also working on a cosplay from oofuri and I believe Jaz is working on someone from Naruto~

We are busy bees but we still go to all sorts of cons during the season so we will still post and you guys will still see us around!

Sarah and I are at Godaikocon this weekend with a table in Artist’s Alley! Yesterday we were deer people and today we will being doing Pearl and Rose (I’m skipping the makeup however). Sunday we’re just going casual but hopefully we’ll get some good photos from the other two days! If you see us there go ahead and say hi, we’ll probably be at the booth most of the day.

So a lot of people have been asking me how I made my Pearl top and I haven’t been able to give a very good explanation so I thought I’d show you using the shorts pattern that I’m doing to redo the shorts for Pearl. Warning for way too many shots of my crotch and butt (both covered but...) Enjoy!

was your Rose Quartz wig really heavy or cumbersome? i want to cosplay rose in the fall, but i'm concerned that if i make giant curls like this, it will be too heavy and slide off my head...

It was a bit heavy yes. But I was able to wear it most of the weekend because we sewed combs into it. The combs were able to to hold the wig onto my hair and while after a long time it got a little annoying, I mostly got used to it as long as it stayed on my head!

Hi there! I love your Pearl cosplay! <3 I was wondering if you made the top? And if so, which pattern did you use? Also, what fabric would you reccomend for her outfit? I'm planning on doing the one with the sash, like yours. ^^

I did! The pattern I actually made myself using newspapers since i don’t know how to use real patterns :P I used a knit b/c i found one that was the perfect color but i wouldn’t recommend it since it tends to wrinkle when sewing and is a pain in the butt. something with a little spandex is good though for stretch and use interfacing for the neck and flared bit. for the sash you can use pretty much anything, the hard part is finding her color since it’s such a light but saturated blue, might be easy to find in a broadcloth but i found one in the “frozen” section where the backside was perfect (the other side has so many sparkles heheh)
