Today marks one whole week with baby Krasinski #3 in our arms, and what a week it has been! My beautiful, brave wife Emily brought our daughter, Marigold Jo, into the world on October 20th, 2024 – the best birthday present ever! – and she is so perfect that we are in a constant state of awe. Witnessing Hazel and Violet with their new sibling has been the greatest privilege and joy – not to mention wildly entertaining – and I couldn't feel more proud as a father watching them take to their roles with a surprising amount of patience and empathy for their sometimes very loud little sister. Mom/Mum (someone’s looking over my shoulder, can you tell?) and baby are doing great: healthy and happy even if both understandably sleep deprived. We truly appreciate our friends and family for checking in and sending all the love this week and over the past nine months. We will let you know when we’re all ready for visits!  Lastly, just wanted to wrap it up by saying that both Em and I can’t believe how lucky our lives are, and that we don’t for a moment take any of this for granted. Every introduction to each of our three (!!!) girls has marked an amazing new chapter in our lives, and we’re so excited to turn the next page with Marigold. …and, hey, I guess this means I get to make a movie for you, now, my sweet golden girl. 💛

Man, your vow renewal was beautiful, truly moving, the kind of ceremony that makes you believe in the whole thing all over again. You two are something special, and I’m really grateful I got to be there to witness it. Thank you for the invite. About those post-wrap plans… I should take a break, maybe disappear somewhere quiet for a bit. But knowing me, I’ll probably get restless after two days and start reading scripts again. Because that's what you are, I hope you know, not just a friend but family. Ugh, I so want to be on that set laughing until crying, sneak me on next chance you get? Because I've asked Em, and she's no help. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll get you a happy story instead. There are less of those in fiction, but more in real life – in my experience. What do I think? Stan crushed it. I didn’t know I could cry and laugh that much in the same ten-minute window. She wrecked me, you both did actually. You two have a way with words that could disarm a whole army. Being any superhero is kind of the goal, right, in one way or another – but Superman is definitely the elite of them all, the one we turn to in times of crisis, no shame is necessary there. 35? Are you kidding me? how could I miss such a special moment for two of my favorite people in the world? No, no, no, I know, I'm absolutely not kidding, just really floating on air at how many quality people made their way all of this way. For us. I know that you would have been one of them, no matter what, but you are a busy lady – don't deny it. Yeah, no, please don't make me cry, I've already smudged my mascara and the artist swore it was waterproof when she applied it (you think I'm kidding again, and I'm really not.) If you start crying, I’m going down with you, don’t test me. The whole ceremony had me in my feelings. But yes, technically not my first time in Lake Como, I was here last year for Valery and Dimitri’s wedding, and let me tell you, it was just as magical then. But this? This is next level. It feels different when it’s people you love, and the energy here is just… ugh, I’m gonna need tissues too, aren’t I? The girls must be loving it. You and Em really know how to make a place feel like a fairytale.

No one in the world makes me feel like that woman does, I am truly #blessed. Let's just be the losers crying in the corner over cake, Eiza, I feel like it's the new cool. The girls are definitely having the time of their lives, good food, good views... people that want to listen to their ramblings, and... y'know, they don't hate their mum and dad kissing quite as much as they used to. I think MJ might actually like it with the way she claps her little hands. Thanks for coming, E, I can't say it enough.

But, seriously, we invited so many people and didn't honestly know what to expect with everyone's killer schedules so, y'know, I am humbled. How was the trip here? Have you gotten to see much of the town? I know most people can't sacrifice more than a day but there's a lot of great things to see and do here.
