So, please dont get too upset with me, and I apologize in advance if I do, and for my ignorance. My question is this, why cant trans people be someones kink? Alot of white people have a kink for black people and vice verca. Im not saying its ok to treat trans people as a sexual object only good for sexual gratification. But is it wrong to be turned on by it?
White people having ‘kinks’ for blackness is not kink. What you’re referring to is deeply rooted in racism and comes from slavery. It’s a racist sexual fetish that’s based in a colonizer mentality of owning black people. Often you will see it expressed through a hyper-sexualization of black people, like the very concept of ‘BBC’ and ‘once you go black you never go back’ and all these ways that we hyper-sexualize black men. There are tons of blogs on this website that are gay white men who are seeking some kind of sexual role-playing that is essentially slavery in reverse (them being sexually dominated and made into a ‘slave’ for a black man.) For an example of how white people fetishize black women, read about the ‘Jezebel stereotype’. However the fetishism of black bodies is expressed, it’s always rooted in having an idea of what a black person is supposed to be like or fuck like. These are ideals and stereotypes that white people literally created about black people, and it started when we decided we were literally more human than they are, and enforced that. There are tons of things you can read on the history of the fetishization of blackness and black bodies in North America and all over the world, and how it as all a direct result of slavery. Black people have explained this way better than me. So please go do your research. The point is, fetishizing someone for their race or ethnicity is still racism, even if you think it’s positive or harmless. And ‘kink’ isn’t a harmless word anyway. Kinks don’t exist in a vacuum, and what we find sexual or erotic comes from society and our environments. I’m sick of people acting like kinks are these purely innocent things that have no connection with the real world.
Honestly, if you read my other post and this one and you still think that what I’m saying is that there is no good, safe, consensual, non-objectifying way to be sexually attracted to trans people, then you lack an understanding of what fetishization is. It’s not wrong for gay men to be turned on by me, my body, or my genitals. What I’m talking about is the difference between being attracted to me and respecting me and knowing me as a man and a fucking human being, and treating me like an ‘experience’ to be had, like my genitals are this taboo kinky thing that you’re not *supposed* to like because you’re only *supposed* to like other cis men. As if that is going to get me hot. As if I want to be fucking treated like that. Calling me your kink is not about me. It’s not about trying to make me feel good or sexually validate me or gratify me or something, it is purely because you wanna stick your dick in a hole that you’ve been told you’re supposed to find repulsive. FUCK. THAT. And maybe there are some trans men who go along with this, but that’s a whole other bag of worms that I’m not going to get into with you.
