Male Common Cruisers (Vindula erota, Heliconiinae, Nymphalidae) Without prior knowledge, it would be logical to assume that this pair puddling from an old campfire might be male and female, or even different species. As it turns out, the females are dramatically different (in fact, they are green). But this is a species that occurs in a number of aberrations.
