You have to hand it to him, he knew how to make me regret my decision. It’s my own fault: he gave me the choice. I just…clearly…chose wrong. I knew what a mistake I had made after 35 seconds. He didn’t even need a full minute before I was begging for the opportunity to change my mind.
Of course, he didn’t say yes right away. First he convinced me to agree that I wouldn’t be fighting him in the future. No more hesitation, and no more backing out. He made sure that I understood my mistake and wouldn’t soon forget it. Only then, after he was certain I was sincere, did he agree to give me one more chance.
And I mean, after watching the video again I know it’s the right move. I definitely made a mistake saying no to him. That’s not a mistake I’ll be making again any time soon.
