Oh all of the bloody time! I have so much time until JL2 that I have no idea what I’m going to do with myself.

“I’m constantly trying to get my friends to hang out with me, but usually I end up at home alone with my dog. That’s all good, but I’m usually completely bored. There are only so many shows on Netflix.”

Are you guys already on a hiatus? That’s lucky. I have about a few months left and then I’m on my break. Maybe you can start a new hobby or something to get your mind off of not filming?

“When do you guys start? We go from early May to around mid-October with some breaks in between. It’s fun with the summer heat and all that. I think last hiatus I knit. Lots of socks and hats which was good for winter. They were really just blobs of yarn with holes in them, but I sent them off to my family. Maybe I’ll take it up again and see if I can get better results.”

I’m kind of wanting May to come so I can come see your set and see all the fake zombies. Watch Tom fake kick some and everything if I’m allowed to. And watch you do your thing because you’re one of my favorites.

“It’s so weird sometimes because you’ll be eating lunch and there’s a zombie right next to you, so you’re like ‘oh, hi there, I’ve got to kill you in about five minutes.” So it’s great, real fun stuff. Tom fake kicks so much ass, you really should come to set. I’ll sneak you in behind a bush and you can just watch if they don’t let you. I’m sure they’ll let you hang out, though! That means a lot, though, I try to kick some ass every now and again.”

Jared had dropped off the kids at a friend’s house so he could hang out with Lauren, he’d spent so much time with the boys and he knew he deserved at least one night to just spend time with his friend. He hadn’t seen Lauren in such a long time but he was glad they’d set up a day that they could finally hang out and just have a good time. He bought Chinese food along with wine and Uno cards like he’d said that he would  so they could see who the winner of the card game would be. He joked with her about beating her in the game, when he knew that she would probably win it. She seemed to always win random guessing games they had on set when she came on for the short time she was there. While they were just guesses, he never did get them right and she did. Not that he’d bring that up because he liked to seem like he won things. His kids could beat him in games even, but he pretended that they cheated. Tom and Shep would laugh at him when he said it. However, Jared was an all around good sport whether he poked fun at it all or not. Once he reached her place he went up to the door with the bag of things he’d gotten and knocked lightly, waiting for her to answer. He was excited to his her again.

She’d spent the day tidying up her loft, readying it for her company. She loved guests, especially when they were old friends like Jared was. She couldn’t quite remember the last time she’d seen the man in person, their lives having gone in separate directions since her departure from Supernatural. In all honesty, she missed him, and she was happy when he’d texted her. They’d teased one another just as they had before, and they seemed to have fallen back into their usual rapport. Lauren didn’t mind, she enjoyed being around Jared. He was easy to get along with and their relationship was full of nothing but respect, support, an admiration. At least, on Lauren’s end for sure.

A knock at the door drew Lauren away from her thoughts. Jared had told her that he’d take care of the food and the wine, so after she’d cleaned, her hands were idle without having snacks to prepare. Instead she’d flipped on some random game show and chewed on her thumbnail until Jared arrived. The woman stood, making her way to the door, opening it with enthusiasm. A smile graced her lips as soon as she saw him and excitement continued to flutter inside her, “Hey you!” she greeted, then stepped back, “Come in, put that stuff down so I can give you a proper hug!” she smiled as she gestured for the man to enter.

“Are you ever just chomping at the bit ready to get to work on filming or some new project or whatever? I honestly cannot wait until May. I love my time off, but I’ve started to miss the apocalypse.”

“My life has changed so much for the better since the show. I’ve made friendships that I would never trade and the fans are absolutely incredible. I love my job, my family, and this fan-base. In short, I don’t think so. My life is so enriched and full of joy and I think it’s better than it would be had I not signed on.”

“Oh, wow. Well, to be doing this show in ten years would be wow. I’m not sure if the zombies will still be around then, but I do see myself doing what I love; acting. I don’t have to be on such a huge show, but it’s my passion and so I’d love to have it in my life. I see myself married, hopefully, and with a child, if not two. I’d love to leave the LA scene and go someone more quiet with a dog and all of that jazz.”

“Oh you can keep me all day, i am single anyways so nobody who waits at home for me.” she joked. “Okay i have my kids but they are with their dad now so i have quite a lot of time, They are one week with me and the other week with Nick unless there are any problems with work or anything. “ “I can’t wait to try their coffee.’ she smiled as she sat down and when the waitress came over she decided to get a coffee and one of their amazing aplle cinnamon muffins. “ as the waitress left she smiled at Lauren. “My holidays were amazing spend NYE with a special guy and the kids, what about you?”

Lauren felt that sentiment completely, and she couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped her lips, “Oh my, do I know exactly how that goes,” she admitted. She’d been single for some time and though she had come to terms with it, part of her yearned for someone to come home to. She nodded, “I get that. It’s good that they get to spend time with both of you. I think I’d be afraid of like, forgetting to pick them up or something. I’m a little scared I’d make a bad mum,” she half-joked.

“I’ve had it and I’ve got to tell you again that it’s great,” she assured the other with a smile. Then, she addressed the waitress, ordering her usual; coffee and cinnamon bun. When the waitress left, she turned to her company once more, a smile on her face, “A special guy, huh?” she spoke with intrigue, “Sounds like a lovely way to spend your time,” she said, “I went to England to visit my family. I’ve got this huge family, so we can usually only get together for the holidays. We play games through that time and it’s usually a blast.”

Jare: I'm already crackin' down on this planning. But I asked him and he said, "Star Wars, daddy." So I guess superheroes are out and Star Wars is in. Haha. The party for my friend happened, so I'm free. :) So let me know when you want me to come by. Exactly! Maggie and Glenn are both a genius, so. Judith needs to calm down and just ride it out. Learn to use a weapon. xD At 5, I knew how to yell, "Dad! I can't find my shoe!" while playing with mud. Haha. And he does play with mud and color, and all the kid things. But for reason he also does smart kid things. It's wild.

Laur: Star Wars party sounds badass! I would definitely have that for my 36th! How cool would that be, with like, light sabers and all that around the place. I could dress my dog up as Chewy and I'm completely getting ahead of myself. I'd probably end up just going out for drinks. How's tomorrow sound? :) Total geniuses. Honestly, I don't think she can. We've had like, twenty Judith babies. And they've always been twins and they've always cried together. I'm all for babies, but we've been a little unlucky with our Judith babies. They get it together after a couple takes though. I think they're just done with the zombies. I can't wait until Judith grows up. It'll be pretty interesting. That sounds about right. I'm glad he does kid things. It seems like more kids are glued to tablets and don't really play outside and it sort of bums me out. I'm like, "Nooo! Go play outside! That farm game isn't playing outside!" He does seem like a smart kid, maybe smarter than his dad ;)

Jare: I will absolutely prove it to you, because I always prove to people that I win. :) Awesome, so it's a fair playing field. I haven't played in a while so it's fair for both of us. She is. I took him to Chuck E Cheese and we had it there with anyone who could make it, it was fun. So he'll probably want another one like that. He was Spider-Man. Haha. I had help. We could stay in and order food while playing UNO? I can come to LA Thursday since Friday I'll be attending a party for another friend. How about that? You are very welcome for both. You deserve them both. Thank you, I believe only sometimes but still thank you. I agree. He's a genius baby. He should be your baby in TWD, he could definitely pull it off. Haha. I bet it's a boy because of the dream sequence Rick had with the little boy. So get that little boy on there, asap. True, I feel like my son is a genius though. He told me he knows his multiplication tables. I said, "What kind of school do you go to again? Where did we enroll you?" Beautiful hair is our thing for life.

Laur: If you say so :) Sounds like the best party ever. I mean, if I were turning 5, I'd want that. That sounds like a good plan! We'll have a blast :) & right? I need to talk to casting and then find that baby and request him because Maggie and Glenn's baby can only be a genius baby. I know the babies that play Judith are constantly crying and I don't think they know how to work an iPad, so I'd feel pretty special having my genius pretend son. Haha, that's so great! He must be one smart kid. I think at 5, I knew how to like, throw rocks and play hopscotch. And color.
