That’s very sweet Raifer, but I don’t love you. You are a close friend, but that’s all.
"Ah, well umm, that's okay, yeah, heh." He folded his ears behind his horns in embarrassment. "That's cool."
Alright then.
"Ah fuck, well here it goes." He purred to her. "Would you mind going on a date with me?"
I’m very… Flattered. But I have never thought of you as anything more than a friend. I’m sorry.
"Hey Jennifer!!! Lovely trooper! How are you?! I've got a question for you!"
Hello Raifer. I’m doing alright, went off the grid for a while. What did you want to ask me?

We wanted to Protect you
@je-9691
Jenny, dear. I’m sorry for what has happen, I didn’t realize that it would go this far. Ignoring the fact we travel from another galaxy at a rate that is proven to be far more destructive than starkiller (Admin: I’m a science major and we did the math) so for us not to vaporize…point is, we just wanted to protect you.
If you want space we undersand but if you have time, I would like for you to meet your family and the Admiral. I believe she wishes to give you a gift.
—General Asami Mitako
I think some space would be best, but I am willing to meet the Admiral.
I u-understand your anger dear, it is justified no matter how much hatred we have toward HUX. But this is your choice and we must respect it. (Carl: I’m so sorry!) If you wish to meet only the Admiral that is fine but do call us if you need everything.
T-the Admiral is an intimidating woman, so if you need a break from her please tell her.
–General Asami Mitako
I think that’s a good idea.
“A-aright, please come this way.” General Asami Mitako shuttered and shivered, she wondered if Jennifer was surprised to see was a head shorter than Jennifer. She was tiny compared to her daughter.
General Lempira was 5′9 so she had to get used to the younger man being taller than her. She walked in front of Jennifer and took her through numerous of hallways. “Dear, there have only been a few individuals who damaged this ship, Saitama, Loki with the tesseract, are a few examples but Hux’s power, as of right now, would not make a dent.” She tried to make some small talk, but she got quieter when she saw General Lempira waiting for them.
He had a stern frown then looked at Jennifer. “Sorry kid, but you need to give your gun before you can go in. We don’t want her to hurt you.”
Jennifer ignored her mother’s attempts as small talk; she wasn’t ready to forgive anyone just yet.
“Understandable,” was all she said to her Uncle. She relinquished her weapon without protest and refused to be intimidated by a woman she had never met.
General Lempira frowned at the girl, she understood she had every right to be angry but to act like this in front of the Admiral is suicidal. He said nothing and took the gun. He let her past but stepped in front of Asami to prevent her from passing.
“You know she has to go alone.”
“She won-won’t kill her right? Right?” General Asami was becoming hysterical and General Lempira shut the door before Jennifer could change her mind.
Kill her? Why would her mother fear for her life? Now Jennifer was slightly worried. She flinched when she heard the door slam shut behind her.
“Hello?” She called tentatively into the room.
The room was quiet and Jennifer was becoming even a little bit more nervous. She tried calming herself down by reminding herself that she has never met this woman but there was a terrible sense of being watched.
“Fear, child, is an emotion a soldier may feel,” It sounded like air to Jennifer but she couldn’t see anyone. “But, it is something that shouldn’t be exposed as best as possible in the eyes and face of a soldier.” She turned to see a woman, possibly in her mid-30′s looking at her.
The fire made her black skin look soft and gave her brown eyes a gentle glow. Perhaps the most unusual features she had was her hair. While it was curly and framed with a golden crown that looked like bull horns (a creature her mother had mentioned about, from their galaxy) and what looked like to be littered with glass like crystals that made constellations, her hair was green and blue.
She looked as if Life had begun with her.
Jennifer’s eyes widened when she saw the woman. Whatever she had been expecting, it certainly wasn’t this. How could anyone be afraid of her? She looked so, so kind. Still, Jennifer was still cautious. After all, her mother wouldn’t have been fearful for no reason.
“I’m not scared,” She said almost childishly, “Just nervous. I’m assuming you’re the Admiral?”
The Admiral did not answer her, instead next to the roaring fire, she brought her knees to her chest and tilted her head at the child. She frowned and reached behind the coach she was resting on. She wrapped a green blanket around herself and looked far more interested about it than Jennifer.
“Many people, when it comes to imaging me, believe I would look something like Snoke.” Her brown eyes that seemed to have a gentle glow dwindled as she continued to talk. “I believe fear comes in a far more terrifying expense when the being in front of you looks like a regular person. They could’ve easily been you.” The Admiral gestured for Jennifer to take the seat across from her. similar coach with a purple blanket.
“The ship takes a while to warm itself up once it places its Star Collapsing Shields, or SCS as I like to call it.” The woman then looked to the fire and with a stroke of her hand a tea set left the inferno and levitated to the table that separated her and Jennifer.
“I find fear to be instinctual or learned such as a parent’s fear of their child being in danger. Where we come from we have a saying, to be thrown in the den of lions or be thrown to a pack of wolves.” The Admiral was spinning her tea cup that still should’ve been too hot for her to hold. “You can tell by yourself that these beasts I mentioned should not be trifled with, so should I be worried that Asami’s daughter doesn’t realize whether or not she has been thrown to the beasts?”
She considered the woman’s statement. “I think I know what you mean. You can never predict what a normal looking person will do. You need to be afraid so you are always ready to protect yourself.” Jennifer poured herself a cup of tea and spread the blanket over her legs. “I’ve never heard of wolves. Or lions. But I know I’ve not been thrown to either of them. Asami shouldn’t worry so much.” She stared into the fire, feeling the woman watching her.
“Why did you want to meet me?”
“Wouldn’t any commander or leader not meet with the person that nearly brought her crew into a war?” The Admiral took a sip, it was difficult to discern if there was a reaction at all. “Jennifer, you and General Hux’s crew believe so much that he could wipeout our ship. If it can survive traveling between galaxies and able to arrive at such a rate that most ships in this galaxy would face obliteration?”
The fire flickered and the Admiral’s eyes became darker. “Those were light shows and the fact that General Hux had to use a whole planet to be able to destroy a system is laughable. That type of technology had been outlawed from our galaxy…until the war that is.” She took another sip, “All ships are required to be able to wipe out a handful of planets, this ship, is no different.”
The table that separated each other moved and skid away from them and Jennifer was pulled forward until she was only a foot difference between them. “What you had stated before was paranoia, a cancer. No this isn’t what an ordinary person could do but someone who as power who seem inhumane are in the end just as human as you. But since you asked, I’m going to tell you what happened to your mother.”
Jennifer suddenly understood exactly why everyone was afraid of the Admiral.
“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.” Not that she really comprehended what was going on, but apologizing seemed like the right thing to do. “I didn’t even know such advanced technology existed. I thought Starkiller base was the strongest weapon there was.”
She gripped her seat as she was yanked forward. “Please tell me.”
The Admiral’s face suddenly became kind, her eyes warm, and so was her smile. “Child, I am not blaming you because this had happened, this was something no one could have imagined happening.”She took a sip and moved Jennifer a bit back with the force, she then clapped her hand, and a black bushy poofy dog. It yelped and waddled up to Jennifer, its eyes were dark and innocent looking, it had a slight mane that was gold at the tip of it, and its tongue was purple. Little triangle like ears and its face was narrow, she noted as the dog licked at her hands.
“That is Bubbles, she is a Chow Chow and Pit Bull mix. She belongs Carl and he uses her to help traumatized children, teens, adults, and she is a fierce protector. She will not harm you, I know the type of person I am, just turn to her if you ever need a break.” The Admiral explained and giggled as Bubbles sat down. “But if you don’t like dogs, we have cats, and not those then birds, and reptiles just let me know.”
“The Admiral then paused as she shifted herself in her seat. “Starkiller was the strongest known weapon in your galaxy. Not our galaxy. I feel like you all don’t hear me, be grateful you are not General Hux. He called me a, ugh what was it again? A puppet-master? Some other insults he threw at me and General Lempira. I would not have been so kind…” Her eyes looked lost in thought and Bubbles went to her and barked and then licked her feet. She jumped and smiled at the dog who then laid under the table.
“Your mother, before she met me, was a feared Colonel that had belonged in a district south from our capital.” It gave Jennifer no help in imaging the place. “Her boss, General Mitaki, hired her to guard her, and he nearly brought her to her demise.”
She giggled with delight when she saw the dog bounding in the room. “I’ve never seen anything more adorable!” Jennifer scratched behind Bubble’s ears as she sipped her tea.
She still couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that Starkiller Base wasn’t the most powerful weapon in the galaxy. The invincibility of the ship should have been impossible. But she already trusted the Admiral, and didn’t question it.
“He shouldn’t have called you that. He shouldn’t have insulted Uncle Carl.” She bristled at the thought of anyone insulting her family, already she was so loyal to them. “That’s what happened to me, the General promoted me to his personal guard and then this disaster happened.”
“Yes, this is why I know your mother decided to adopt you, Jennifer,” she sipped some of her tea and Bubbles whined a little but moved closer to Jennifer. “Asami is not one to trust so easily nether less worry for another person she doesn’t know. I hope your conversations with General Hux has suspended for the moment.” Her voice went cold as she looked at Jennifer, but then she readjusted herself then looked at the fire.
“Before you met your mother, I just destroyed my 7th system, I was quite proud there were 8 planets in that one. My ship, legendary in being able to hit more than 5 planets at once, needed improvement so I met with your mother when she was a colonel and working under that man. I was so happy when I met her, and when I destroyed my 15th system that had 12 planets, I knew I made the right choice in helping your mother. I hope she is making the right one with you.” The Admiral said and as she looked at Jennifer, the girl was likely able to see all the horror that she has seen.
She looked down self-consciously when the Admiral said that.
“Yeah, I won’t talk to him until we are done,” She guiltily rubbed the back of her neck and pet Bubbles to avoid looking at the woman across from her.
She listened, captivated, as the Admiral recounted her tale. It was incredibly hard to believe that this kind-looking woman could make the decision to destroy so much.
“I hope she is making the right choice as well.”
“War, my dear, changes people and forces us to take actions we never thought were possible.” She got her tea, stood up, and flung it into the fire. Watching as the embers and smoke violently react to her, but then she held her hand out. The embers danced in her palm with the smoke and the fire calmed, it became an orb, and then the Admiral crushed it. “Perfect for refusing fuel.”
The Admiral sat back dow cocooned herself, only her face was appearing out. “Sorry dear, I meant to say before I met your mother, not you when I was talking about the seventh system I destroyed. There was no people on those planets but something far worse, be glad this galaxy has never met such horror.” Her voice shook and the lights were flickering on.
“Once General Victor finds the material I need this shouldn’t be a problem any more. But where was I? Oh, yes. Mitaki, the bastard. At the time he was a General and was in a known and supportive relationship with his captain, Mare.To tell you the truth, I think about the day I met your mother a lot, if I didn’t show up…no doubt Mitaki would have succeeded in trying to murder your mother, Asami.”
Jennifer shivered and pulled her blanket more tightly around her, and was mesmerized. She couldn’t look away when the Admiral held the fire in her palm. She almost asked what was on the planets, but bit her tongue in favor of not interrupting her. “If it’s not too rude of me to ask, why exactly did you show up? Were you under an obligation to help mother?”
“That’s not a rude question to ask.” The Admiral responded as she burrowed herself deeper into her blankets. “I had showed up, as I stated earlier in our conversation, my ship was only capable to destroying five planets on average. I wasn’t satisfied with that, considering my unit was given the worst hospitable location possible.” The Admiral poked her head out and the lights came back on. “Okay, but I need the heat.” She grumbled then turned her attention back to Jennifer.
“The crew that your mother was on had the highest average in planet destruction, at the time. But at the time I was barely an Admiral and Mitaki who was going to be promoted to an Admiral in a few months, felt I was not worth his time and sent your mother to greet me. That may had been the smartest thing he ever did in his pathetic wasteful life.” There was a gust and the heat came on. The Admiral turned around to look at the clock.
“An hour without power, had we’ve been in battle we would’ve been slaughtered. I must speak with General Wolfgang about this.” She shook her head and rubbed her eyes. “Your mother was kind to me but the longer I stayed with her the more I noticed the looks being passed to her direction. It wasn’t until I was told that she had kissed General Mitaki after coming back from what turned out to be an almost filed mission. There were varied accounts some said that the kiss was right after, others said a week, but in the end the truth was that they did kiss.”
The Admiral breathed in and out as she looked at Jennifer, her eyes gleamed with pity. “Soon she was being attacked and all that time I didn’t know until I was told by some gossiper. By then it quite down but your mother a colonel was demoted to a mere foot-soldier. She then left the day I finally met General Mitaki. He was trying to save his relationship. The fool. Those stupid fools.”
Jennifer mimicked the Admiral and enfolded herself into her blankets. The chamber was freezing, even with the blazing fire.
“That’s still a lot of planets. Even Starkiller base, which is an incredible feat of technology, could only destroy five planets.” She privately didn’t understand the Admiral’s desire for destructive power.
She listened intently when she heard that her mother had kissed her own General. “The General and I didn’t even kiss, though. We fell on top of each other, and the rumors spread.” She hated the pity in her eyes. “And I wasn’t demoted. I resigned, on my own, because I didn’t want to be transferred to Hoth.”
She was still very sensitive about the whole situation; not that she would ever admit it. “He was a fool, though. I agree with that.”

Hm. You are afraid of him. The spies' reports were correct, Jennifer, love. If you want this creature alive I suggest you give him a proper warning. If not this shall be a grand night. Cease talk for a mental dear, before I become annoyed.--the Admiral
Do you have anything of importance to say? Or are you just going to stand there like an idiot hoping I’ll catch on?
Yes, ma’am. General, please, please don’t antagonize the Admiral.

Jennifer, you know it wasn’t more than that. Right? Hah! Please don’t tell me you actually have feelings for me?
Excellent! Are you still coming to visit for those croissants?
Of course I am. An entire army couldn’t hold me back for some classic croissants.
I genuinely look forward to it!
Don’t get too excited, Jennifer. I am coming with the Finalizer. Your diner will be absolutely wrecked after we’re done with it.
Like, everyone on the Finalizer? Or just the officers? Because I can handle just the officers. But the diner had better not be destroyed.

O-of course not. I considered you a friend, though.
Good, because I consider you a friend.
