The Adler-Norton Agreement
Both parties (Irene Adler and Jeanne Norton) agree to: 1. Trust in each others' ability to keep themselves out of danger.
2. Share any and all news that may lead to any sort of danger to each other, Kate or Amelia Norton-Adler.
3. Always be there at Amelia's bedtime, regardless of the amount of research (Jeanne) or snooping data-collecting (Irene) they may be involved in.
4. To wear their wedding ring at all times while performing said activities, in order to remind themselves that they are very much married to each other and aren't to go about endangering themselves. (I mean this one, Irene) (okay.)
5. Agree to have very differing opinions on pineapple on pizza. (It isn't all that bad) (Jeanne. No.) (Alright, alright, I'll stop)
6. Agree to not worry about independent acquaintances, past or present, platonic or ex-romantic, unless they violate rule 2.
7. Not move out at the slightest disagreement. (I'll move my things back in.) (Tomorrow, not now. Now you stay.) (Okay)
8. Remember that Ames is more important than any other job/person/thing in the world and think about how their actions affect her.
9. Never touch the stove ever again. (I've learnt from my mistakes. I'm better now.) (Not risking it, Irene.)
10. Always, always remember that 'the love was there, it still is and it will always be. And that is enough.' We hereby declare that we accept this agreement and give Kate the power to enforce it. (Kate, maybe not the pizza one.) (Kate, definitely the pizza one.)
Addendum: Get actual pens and not use Ames' crayons. (Agreed.) (We need real stationery in this house. Crayons won't work for everything.)
