Background Story

Life is peaceful on the shores of the Simediterranean sea, back in the 30’s Porto Estivo was a charming seaside resort until a violent storm swept away the little town .. Porto Estivo is now an empty land, a white canvas where you can fully express your creativity !

Yeah, I made up a story to justify the emptiness of the world

Details and requirements

This world is based on Sunset Valley, I tweaked a little the original map to add some new areas : it now has a dense downtown area, a large harbour, a brand new rural/wooden neighborhood and some new beaches to explore ! I did my best to bring a mediterranean atmosphere to the world, I’m satisfied with the look of the shores but I went a little wild with the lavender fields and the forest .. Porto Estivo is an odd mix of mediterranean/tuscanian/italian/provencal elements actually

Requirements: World Adventure | Pets | University LIfe | Supernatural | Island Paradise | Monte Vista from the sims 3 store

I also have Late Night | Ambition | Seasons | Town Life stuff installed but I think you’ll be safe with just the ones listed above 

Lots :The world has 121 empty lots of various sizes 

Spawners :I placed all the spawners shown in Caw (depending on the Ep I have) except the WA ones and the freshwater fishes since the world doesn’t have any pond

Terms of Use and Sharing

TOU : nothing special here, don’t claim this world as your own, don’t try to make money out of it and don’t re-upload it anywhere (unless you did some modifications to the world) ..

Feel free to release a save file or to modify the world in CAW if you want to add/remove things, just give me a little credits when you think it’s appropriate 

Also, don’t hesitate to tag you pics with #porto estivo if you use the world, I’d love to see what you’ve done with it !

Disclaimer:

It seems like many people have encountered issues with the bridge and the lighthouse which I’m currently unable to fix .. All I can advise you for now is  to install this hack version of Monte Vista (This is the one I use).

There are people who are way more qualified than me to solve this kind of problem, if you’re one of them and somehow want to fix this bug, feel free to alter the world as you want

Waking up this morning was like having a bad hangover. Last night we were drunk with all the horrors perpetrated in Paris and now we look at the news wondering how all of these could have possibly happened.

The oasis at sunset is a great place to admire the beauty of the landscape and the city, especially the Great Mosque, whose minarets of the Great Mosque can be seen from a very long distance.
